Efficiency leader, no clear weak spot
The DAH DHM-T72X10/BF/FS series are full-screen bifacial modules designed for maximum energy production in real-world installation conditions. Thanks to the 1/3-cut design, the module operates at a lower current, reducing losses in wiring and connections, and also helps to mitigate the effects of local shading. The use of bifacial technology allows for the utilization of reflected light from the ground, making the series particularly suitable for flat roofs with a light membrane, ground installations, and commercial projects where maximizing energy output per square meter is crucial.
Another noteworthy feature is the high-transmittance glass with an anti-reflective coating, which supports stable operation under diffuse light and varying angles of incidence. The manufacturer emphasizes reducing the risk of hot spots and losses due to soiling, which translates into greater predictability of energy yields. This is a proposal for installers and investors who want to combine the aesthetics of a full-screen design with the practical benefits of operation.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Commercial, utility-scale and shaded-installations.
Top 4% of the PERC 550-600 W segment, against a median of 21.29%. Ranked 7,399th in the whole database.
Top 12% of the PERC 550-600 W segment, against a median of 212.9.
Top 25% of the PERC 550-600 W segment, against a median of 27 yrs.
The manufacturer provides a linear power output warranty for 30 years (>80.1% after 25 years), surpassing the 25-year standard typically offered by comparable bifacial PERC series in this power class (Exiom, Goldi Solar, Premier Energies). The extended coverage horizon improves LCOE metrics in commercially and ground-mounted projects with external financing.
The highest-performance 560 W variant achieves 21.72%, positioning the series on par with direct competitors: Exiom EX540-560M(B) (21.7%), Goldi Solar GS10-B144-GF (21.7%), and Premier Energies (21.67%). The series remains in the top 10% of the 182 mm bifacial PERC module segment, translating into greater power output from the same roof or ground area.
The bifacial design with a transparent backsheet (FS) harvests additional energy from ground-reflected irradiance — the manufacturer rates up to 20% additional energy yield under suitable installation conditions (light-colored TPO/PVC membrane, ground mount, open-rack structure). Particularly effective in ground-mounted and commercial flat-roof projects with high substrate albedo.
Splitting the cell into thirds reduces operating current more aggressively than a conventional half-cut design (power loss P = I²R), lowering thermal stress on MC4 connectors and cabling. This results in improved partial-shading tolerance and more stable module output under non-uniform irradiance distribution.
DAH Solar has continuously appeared on the BNEF Tier 1 list from at least Q1 2025 through Q4 2025, meeting the tightened qualification criteria (minimum 10 MW of financed projects from 2025 onward). Bankable status is a requirement of most financing institutions for renewable energy projects above 1 MW and reduces counterparty risk for investors.
Production of the DHM-T72X10/BF/FS series has been discontinued. This creates challenges in expanding or replenishing installations in the event of physical damage, limits module availability on the market, and raises the risk that warranty servicing may be deprioritized in favor of active product lines. DAH Solar has transitioned to TOPCon platforms (DHN series), further reducing the likelihood of sourcing replacement modules with identical electrical parameters.
The temperature coefficient is -0.37%/°C (P-type PERC), whereas current N-type TOPCon modules achieve -0.29 to -0.32%/°C. At a module temperature of 70°C (typical summer conditions in Poland, Δ = 45°C above STC), this translates to approximately 2.0–2.5% additional power loss relative to an equivalent TOPCon module, meaningfully reducing energy yield during peak irradiance months (June–August).
- At 21.7% efficiency, this panel is on par with typical PERC 550-600W modules
- Power density of 216.7 W/m² packs 3.8 W/m² more into the same footprint vs PERC 550-600W median (212.9 W/m²)
- Temperature coefficient of -0.35%/°C matches the PERC 550-600W median
- Weight of 28.9 kg (1.9 kg below PERC 550-600W median of 30.8 kg) allows easier transport and roof mounting
- Bifaciality factor of 70% can add 4-10% extra yield with reflective mounting surface
