Efficiency leader, weak in heat
The Centro Energy CE Mono 72-cell series consists of advanced monocrystalline modules designed to maximize yields from large mounting surfaces. Thanks to the use of high-efficiency cells with an enlarged structure, these panels offer excellent operational stability even under limited sunlight. A key feature of this line is PERC cell technology, which allows for significantly better light absorption and minimizes energy losses resulting from the natural heating of the module during operation. The solid frame construction ensures high resistance to mechanical loads, which is critical in demanding Polish weather conditions, such as heavy snow or strong wind gusts. These modules are primarily dedicated to entities developing large-scale photovoltaic farms and large industrial installations, where a favorable price-to-power ratio and long-term system reliability are key. Compared to standard solutions, the CE Mono 72-cell series demonstrates low power degradation over time, which directly translates to higher profitability and a faster return on investment. The use of modern anti-reflective coatings and high-transmittance tempered glass further increases energy conversion efficiency, making this series an optimal choice for the professional energy sector seeking proven technologies.

Small roofs that need every watt and roofs where every square metre counts.

Top 17% of the PERC 200-250 W segment, against a median of 16.80%.
Top 17% of the PERC 200-250 W segment, against a median of 168.0.
Bottom 1% of the PERC 200-250 W segment, against a median of -0.370. Ranked 13,921st in the whole database.
The 72-cell, 200 Wp module is designed for utility-scale PV plants and large commercial rooftop systems, where the larger format reduces balance-of-system (BoS) costs — including mounting and wiring — on a per-watt basis compared to 60-cell panels.
PERC cells enhance light absorption by reflecting unused photons from the rear passivation layer back through the silicon, delivering measurably higher daily energy yield than standard monocrystalline BSF cells, particularly under diffuse irradiance conditions.
The manufacturer provides a 25-year linear power warranty, which is the established standard for commercial-segment modules and gives project developers the long-term performance guarantees required for NPV modeling over a typical 20–25 year financing horizon.
The full CE Mono 72-cell line is manufactured in compliance with IEC 61215 (performance and durability) and IEC 61730 (safety), meeting the bankability and insurability requirements for externally financed projects.
The certified module efficiency of 19.63% is significantly lower than that of the peer-comparable Gamko GKA182M (23.0%) at an identical rated power of 200 Wp. This requires approximately 17% more installation area to achieve the same system output — a material disadvantage in space-constrained projects. Even the Isola 210M Split Cell reaches 20.16% at the same power rating.
Centro Energy does not appear on the BNEF Tier-1 module manufacturer lists (Q1 2025 – Q1 2026), which complicates securing non-recourse project financing for PV plants above 1 MWp, where banks and infrastructure funds routinely require bankable manufacturers as a condition of eligibility.
By 2025–2026, TOPCon has become the market-standard cell technology for new utility-scale PV installations, accounting for over 60% of global production capacity according to BNEF. PERC cells exhibit a higher light-induced degradation (LID) rate (~0.5%/year) and inferior high-temperature performance (higher Pmax temperature coefficient) compared to N-type technologies, resulting in measurably lower cumulative energy yield over a 25-year project lifetime.
The 10-year product warranty (covering material and manufacturing defects) falls below the rising market standard: Jinko, JA Solar, and Trina offer 12–15 years, while the Gamko GKA182M carries a 30-year product warranty. For investors, this translates to elevated O&M cost risk during the 10–25 year operating window.
- Efficiency of 19.6% matches the PERC 0-400W median
- At 196.3 W/m² power density, roof space requirements are typical for PERC 0-400W panels
- At -0.50%/°C, loses 0.14pp more power per degree than PERC 0-400W median (-0.36%/°C)
- 11.7 kg weight - 8.8 kg lighter than PERC 0-400W median (20.5 kg), reducing installation effort
- #12576 for efficiency, #13921 for temperature performance out of 14005 panels
