The ZNShine ZXM7-SHLD108 series are bifacial modules designed for reliable performance in demanding conditions - where standard panels degrade faster. The glass-glass construction enhances cell protection and increases resistance to moisture and chemical factors, effectively minimizing the risk of degradation in installations exposed to harsher environments (e.g., industrial areas, high-corrosion zones). The use of monocrystalline PERC cells in a half-cut configuration supports better performance under partial shading and reduces susceptibility to heat-related losses. Additionally, the design based on a multi-string connection architecture promotes more stable power collection and minimizes the impact of micro-cracks on yield. This is a series particularly recommended for rooftop and commercial installations, where long-term reliability, safety, and predictable energy output are paramount, not just catalog specifications.

Common questions

6 answered
Is the ZNShine ZXM7-SHLD108 series still available for purchase?
The ZXM7-SHLD108 series has been discontinued from current production and is being replaced by newer models in ZNShine's lineup. Availability is now limited to remaining distributor stock. If you're planning to expand an existing installation with more of these panels, it's worth acting quickly, as inventory may run out soon, after which matching specs to older panels becomes harder.
What warranty comes with ZNShine ZXM7-SHLD108 panels?
The manufacturer provides a 15-year product warranty covering material and workmanship defects, plus a 30-year power output warranty guaranteeing limited performance degradation over time. These figures are typical of premium Tier 1 manufacturers, offering stronger investment security, especially for commercial installations designed to run for decades.
How does the glass-glass construction differ from a standard panel in this series?
Unlike classic backsheet modules, the ZXM7-SHLD108 uses two glass layers encasing the cells. This construction better protects against moisture, microcracks, and PID degradation, which matters in harsher environments such as near industrial sites or coastal areas. It also enables bifacial energy harvesting from reflected light on the rear side.
Do ZNShine ZXM7-SHLD108 panels use TOPCon technology?
Yes, the series is built on TOPCon cells, which offer higher conversion efficiency and lower temperature losses compared to older PERC cells. This means the panels perform better in summer, at high roof temperatures, where classic PERC modules lose more output. Maximum module power in this series reaches 440 Wp.
Does the bifacial ZXM7-SHLD108 panel need special mounting to use its dual-sided output?
For a bifacial panel to gain meaningfully from rear-side production, mounting should allow access to reflected light, such as on a light-colored roof, ground-mount racking with clearance, or high-albedo surfaces. On a typical dark, sloped roof with the panel flush against the surface, the bifacial gain will be minimal, though the glass-glass build still improves durability.
Is it worth buying ZNShine panels given the manufacturer is headquartered in China?
ZNShine is classified as a Tier 1 manufacturer, meaning stable financials, a long-standing market presence, and large-scale production backed by independent quality certifications. Chinese origin is standard in the PV industry, as most global cell and module manufacturing happens there, and Tier 1 status adds extra assurance that the warranty will be reliably honored.
