Middle of its segment, modest efficiency
The Waaree ARUN series (WS-100 to WS-235) are silicon modules designed for stable operation in typical real-world operating conditions - from domestic installations to utility and off-grid applications. A key feature is polycrystalline cell technology, valued where predictable performance and a good quality-to-cost ratio of the entire system are important. In practice, this means easier design of installations with repeatable yields, without overpaying for solutions you don’t use.
A major advantage of the series is the wide range of power options and voltage configurations, enabling the modules to be adapted both to traditional rooftop installations and to battery systems, lighting, monitoring, or recreational facilities. Users gain greater design flexibility - it’s easier to match the number of panels to the inverter or charge controller, minimizing losses from mismatching.
This is an option for investors who expect proven construction and predictable operation, rather than marketing promises.

Signals from the data
Residential and off-grid.
Tight roof space, roofs where every square metre has to count and weight-limited structures.
Bottom 4% of the 30-230 W band, against a median of 15.91%. Ranked 13,971st in the whole database.
Bottom 5% of the 30-230 W band, against a median of 159.1. Ranked 13,955th in the whole database.
Bottom 11% of the 30-230 W band, against a median of 71.2.
- At 12.9% efficiency, this panel is 8.9pp below the database median of 21.8%
- 129.3 W/m² power density is 88.8 W/m² below database median (218.1 W/m²) - requires larger installation area
- -0.39%/°C temperature coefficient - 0.09pp worse than database median (-0.30%/°C), expect higher hot weather losses
- 13.0 kg weight - 13.5 kg lighter than database median (26.5 kg), reducing installation effort
- #13971 for efficiency, #13485 for temperature performance out of 14005 panels
