Middle of its segment, heavy for its output
The VSUN 108BMH-DG series are modules designed for high energy production in real-world conditions, both on rooftops and in larger installations. A key advantage is the bifacial technology, which allows the panel to generate energy not only from the front, but also from reflected light from the ground. Combined with N-type TOPCon cells, this results in more stable performance in hot weather, lower losses over time, and better efficiency in low-light conditions.
The use of a 108-cell half-cut configuration improves resistance to partial shading and reduces the risk of losses due to uneven lighting - which is particularly important in Poland due to chimneys, skylights, or trees. The dual-glass (glass-glass) construction increases durability and resistance to environmental factors, while the robust design makes it easy to integrate into projects where long-term reliability is a priority.
This is a good choice for investors who want to maximize the energy output from a given area and are looking for a technology that is clearly more advanced than standard PERC modules.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Residential, commercial and shaded-installations.
Weight-limited structures.
Bottom 8% of the TOPCon 400-450 W segment, against a median of 51.4. Ranked 11,567th in the whole database.
- Efficiency of 21.8% matches the TOPCon 400-450W median
- At 217.6 W/m² power density, roof space requirements are typical for TOPCon 400-450W panels
- Temperature coefficient of -0.30%/°C matches the TOPCon 400-450W median
- At 24.7 kg, this panel is 2.7 kg heavier than the TOPCon 400-450W median (22.0 kg) - more demanding for installation crews
- Bifaciality factor of 80% can add 4-12% extra yield with reflective mounting surface

Datasheet charts
Measured curves published by VSUN in this model's datasheet. A chart carrying a wattage was measured on that variant alone - only the ones that describe 425 Wp appear here. The rest cover the whole series.
Simulations
Degradation from this panel's own datasheet figures. No inverter, soiling or shading losses.
Model: bifaciality × albedo × 0.6 view factor. A first-order estimate, not a yield simulation.
