Middle of its segment, modest efficiency
The VSUN N-108MH-BW panel series is based on advanced N-type cells, which represents a significant technological leap compared to traditional P-type modules. The use of TOPCon technology allows for much higher energy conversion efficiency, especially in lower sunlight conditions. The innovative design with 108 half-cut cells minimizes energy losses resulting from internal resistance and partial shading of the module. N-Type TOPCon technology provides users with a significantly slower decline in efficiency over time, which translates into measurable financial gains over many years. This solution is ideal for investors looking for a balance between modern aesthetics and high efficiency on limited roof space. Thanks to low temperature coefficients, these modules work more efficiently on hot days, which clearly distinguishes them from older market solutions. High resistance to LID and LeTID degradation guarantees long-term parameter stability, eliminating the risk of premature component wear. Half-cut cell construction further increases safety by limiting the risk of hot-spots. This model is dedicated to modern prosumer installations, where maximizing yields from the roof area and the guarantee of many years of trouble-free operation of the entire photovoltaic system are key.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Residential, shaded-installations and hot-climate.
Tight roof space and roofs where every square metre has to count.
Bottom 8% of the TOPCon 400-450 W segment, against a median of 22.00%. Ranked 8,904th in the whole database.
Bottom 10% of the TOPCon 400-450 W segment, against a median of 220.2.
- Efficiency of 21.2% is 0.8pp below the TOPCon 400-450W median (22.0%)
- At 212.5 W/m², this panel generates 7.7 W/m² less per unit area than TOPCon 400-450W median (220.2 W/m²)
- Temperature coefficient of -0.30%/°C matches the TOPCon 400-450W median
- #8904 for efficiency, #6093 for temperature performance out of 14005 panels
