The Vikram Solar PARADEA VSMDH.60.AAA.05 (590-615) series is a bifacial glass-glass module designed for high energy yield even when roof or ground conditions are not ideal. It is characterized by a double-layer design, which better withstands moisture, saline fog, and mechanical loads, while also reducing the risk of microcracks and deformations over time. The use of multi-busbar technology improves current collection from the cells and increases resistance to local losses, which translates into more stable operation of the system.

Thanks to its half-cut architecture, the series performs better under partial shading and in real-world operating conditions where dirt or structural elements can reduce production. Another advantage is the bifacial effect - the module can utilize light reflected from bright surfaces, such as gravel, concrete, or snow.

This is a good choice for PV farms, C&I installations, and projects where lower life-cycle energy costs and predictable performance are important.

About the PARADEA VSMDH.60.AAA.05 (AAA = 590–615) series

6 answered

These answers cover the whole series. Where a figure differs, the specification above is this module's own.

What warranty comes with Vikram Solar PARADEA VSMDH.60.AAA.05 panels?
The PARADEA VSMDH.60.AAA.05 series comes with a 12-year product warranty and a 30-year linear power output warranty. This warranty structure is standard for premium bifacial modules and reflects the durability of the glass-glass construction. In practice, it means a predictable power degradation curve and lower risk for investors planning a 25-30 year system lifetime.
How much extra energy does the bifacial effect add in this series?
Thanks to the glass-glass design, the module can capture light reflected off the ground, such as gravel, concrete, a white roof membrane, or snow, delivering a bifacial gain of up to 25 percent compared to a monofacial panel. The actual gain depends on ground albedo, mounting height, and tilt angle, so results are best on ground-mount farms and flat roofs with a light-colored surface.
How does glass-glass construction differ from a standard panel with a rear backsheet?
In a glass-glass module, the cells are laminated between two panes of glass instead of glass and a polymer backsheet. This construction better withstands moisture, salt mist, and mechanical loads while reducing the risk of microcracks and PID degradation over the long term. The trade-off is a heavier module, so it's worth checking the mounting structure's load capacity before installation.
Does the half-cut architecture in PARADEA improve performance under partial shading?
Yes. Splitting cells in half (half-cut) combined with multi busbar technology limits the impact of local shading, such as from a chimney, antenna, or leaf, on the whole panel's output. Power losses under partial shading are lower than in classic full-cell modules, resulting in more stable system performance, especially where mounting conditions aren't ideal.
What's the module's maximum power, and does it weigh more than a standard panel?
Models in this series reach up to 615 Wp with module efficiency above 21 percent, placing them among the top-performing 120-cell PERC panels. Due to the dual-glass construction, the panel weighs over 36 kg, more than a typical backsheet module, so it's worth planning for enough installers and confirming roof load capacity before transport and mounting.
Is Vikram Solar, a Tier 1 manufacturer from India, a safe choice for C&I and utility-scale PV projects?
Vikram Solar is classified as a Tier 1 manufacturer headquartered in India, meaning stable financials, in-house production lines, and a long supply track record confirmed by independent bankability rankings. For C&I and utility-scale PV projects, this matters because it eases project financing and increases confidence in warranty fulfillment over the entire operating life of the installation.
