The Vespa Solar Enerji VSP-T series is designed for high energy production, even in conditions where module performance is more challenging than in ideal testing scenarios - such as intermittent shading, lower sunlight levels, and greater temperature fluctuations. The use of bifacial technology allows for the utilization of reflected light from the ground, which realistically increases energy yield in ground-mounted and light-surface rooftop installations. Another key feature is the half-cut cell design, which minimizes losses due to micro-shading and improves the stability of the string. Furthermore, the multi-busbar design supports better current transport and reduces the impact of micro-cracks on long-term performance.

In practice, the VSP-T solves common investor problems - it helps to extract more kWh from the same area and maintain consistent performance thanks to triple EL testing and Anti-PID protection. This series is suitable for C&I, PV farm, and energy-cost-focused projects throughout the entire lifecycle.

Common questions

6 answered
Are Vespa Solar Enerji VSP-T panels suitable for solar farms and ground-mounted installations?
Yes, the VSP-T series is a strong fit for solar farms and ground-mount installations thanks to its bifacial technology, which captures light reflected off the ground, gravel, or light-colored surfaces. This delivers extra energy yield from the rear side of the panel without increasing the installation footprint. Combined with power ratings up to 460 Wp, the series suits C&I projects focused on lowering the lifetime cost of energy.
What warranty comes with VSP-T Series panels and what does it cover?
Vespa Solar Enerji offers a 15-year product warranty covering material and workmanship defects, plus a 30-year power warranty guaranteeing a defined performance level over time. This is close to industry-leading standards, though it's worth noting Vespa is not a tier-1 manufacturer, so for large-volume purchases it's advisable to verify local warranty service and spare-part availability before ordering.
What is bifacial technology in VSP-T panels and does it really boost energy production?
Bifacial technology means the VSP-T panel has active cells on both sides of the module and can generate power from both direct sunlight and light reflected off the ground. In ground-mount installations over light-colored soil or roofs with reflective surfaces, this can realistically add several to over ten percent more yield compared to a standard monofacial panel, without expanding the installed footprint.
How does the half-cut cell layout in VSP-T panels differ from standard full-cell modules?
In half-cut technology, each silicon cell is cut in half, reducing current losses and heat generated within the module. This helps the VSP-T panel cope better with partial shading, such as from a chimney, tree, or passing clouds, since shading on one half-cell has less impact on the whole string. The result is higher and more stable energy output under less-than-ideal sunlight conditions.
Do VSP-T panels perform well on hot roofs during summer?
The VSP-T series uses PERC cells and a multibusbar design that supports better current transport and limits losses from module heating. Additionally, Anti-PID protection guards against potential-induced degradation, which intensifies under high temperature and humidity. In practice this means more predictable energy output even on hot summer days, though like any silicon panel, VSP-T will lose some efficiency above 25°C.
Is Vespa Solar Enerji a well-established manufacturer, and where are VSP-T panels made?
Vespa Solar Enerji is a manufacturer headquartered in Turkey and is not currently classified as tier-1 under Bloomberg NEF's ranking, indicating a smaller production scale and shorter market track record than the largest Asian manufacturers. This does not automatically mean lower quality - the VSP-T series undergoes a triple EL test to check for micro-cracks. Before purchasing, it's worth confirming a local distributor and warranty service terms in your market.
