Middle of its segment, heavy for its output
The VDS Renewable VDS-S144/M6H-BG series are bifacial glass-glass modules designed for stable operation in demanding installations. Thanks to bidirectional energy conversion, they can better utilize reflected light from the ground, which helps to increase power generation where traditional "single-sided" panels leave potential untapped. The use of half-cut technology minimizes losses and improves performance under partial shading, while MBB technology supports higher efficiency and better resistance to microcracks in daily operation.
In practice, the VDS-S144/M6H-BG solves common problems for farms and roofs in challenging operating conditions - temperature fluctuations, stronger winds, higher loads, and the risk of accelerated laminate aging. The glass-glass design promotes long-term durability, and the high-sealing junction box helps maintain safety and reliability. It is a good choice for commercial, industrial, and ground-mounted installations where predictable performance and durability are more important than just paper specifications.

Signals from the data
Commercial and shaded-installations.
Weight-limited structures, tight roof space and roofs where every square metre has to count.
Bottom 6% of the 345-545 W band, against a median of 52.7. Ranked 12,956th in the whole database.
Bottom 19% of the 345-545 W band, against a median of 21.50%.
Bottom 21% of the 345-545 W band, against a median of 215.1.
- At 20.4% efficiency, this panel is 1.4pp below the database median of 21.8%
- Power density of 204.4 W/m² is 13.7 W/m² below database median (218.1 W/m²) - needs more roof space
- Temperature coefficient of -0.34%/°C is 0.04pp worse than database median (-0.30%/°C) - higher losses in summer heat
- At 28.5 kg (2.0 kg above database median of 26.5 kg), requires checking roof load capacity
- Bifacial design (70% factor) captures reflected light - adds 4-10% yield on ground-mount or white roof
