Solid all-round for its segment
The VDS Renewable VDS-S120/FNH series consists of monocrystalline modules based on PERC technology and half-cut cell design, specifically engineered for stable operation under real roof and ground conditions. The use of half-cut cells reduces the risk of hot spots and minimizes internal resistance losses, resulting in more reliable energy production even under partial shading or in installations exposed to uneven sunlight. The series also features high reliability, confirmed by IEC-compliant tests, as well as refined soldering quality, which supports long-term, trouble-free operation. The modules feature anti-reflective glass, allowing them to better utilize light in less ideal conditions, such as cloudy weather. Finally, the series offers robust mechanical resistance, which is important in the Polish climate (wind, snow). The VDS-S120/FNH series is suitable for home prosumer installations, small businesses, and renovation projects, where a reasonable balance between efficiency, durability, and predictability is key.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Residential, commercial and shaded-installations.
- At 19.5% efficiency, this panel is 2.3pp below the database median of 21.8%
- Power density of 195.6 W/m² is 22.5 W/m² below database median (218.1 W/m²) - needs more roof space
- -0.34%/°C temperature coefficient - 0.04pp worse than database median (-0.30%/°C), expect higher hot weather losses
- 19.0 kg weight - 7.5 kg lighter than database median (26.5 kg), reducing installation effort
- In the top 90% for efficiency among all N-type panels
