Middle of its segment, weak in heat
The Sunpro TOPCon 186.8R BIFACIAL series redefines performance standards in modern photovoltaics by integrating rectangular N-type cells with an advanced bifacial design. The use of TOPCon cell technology allows for higher efficiency while reducing losses related to high operating temperatures. This solution perfectly addresses the needs of investors struggling with limited space, offering more power from every square meter of roof or ground. A key advantage of the series is bifacial energy generation (Bifacial), which enables the acquisition of additional power from radiation reflected from the ground, significantly increasing the profitability of projects on bright surfaces or in east-west installations. Thanks to minimal LID and LeTID degradation rates, these modules guarantee stable production over a long-term horizon, setting them apart from standard P-type solutions. The use of the rectangular 186.8R cell format allows for better utilization of the module surface and optimization of electrical parameters. This equipment is dedicated to demanding solar farms and commercial installations, where the priority is the highest return on investment and reliability in variable weather conditions typical of the Polish climate.

Datasheet charts
Measured curves published by Sunpro Power in this model's datasheet. A chart carrying a wattage was measured on that variant alone - only the ones that describe 450 Wp appear here. The rest cover the whole series.
Simulations
Degradation from this panel's own datasheet figures. No inverter, soiling or shading losses.
Model: bifaciality × albedo × 0.6 view factor. A first-order estimate, not a yield simulation.
