Space saver, weak in heat
The SunEvo Solar SE5-54HBD series is a range of modules designed for high performance in real-world conditions, even when the roof or ground is not perfectly sunlit. The use of N-type cells in the HJT technology and a bifacial design allows the panel to effectively utilize not only direct sunlight, but also reflected light from a bright surface, such as the ground, facade, or roof membrane. This results in more stable energy yields and a better return on investment.
Compared to the competition, the glass-glass construction offers increased resistance to aging, micro-cracks, and harsh weather conditions, and the bifacial technology supports additional energy production. It is also worth noting the low temperature coefficient, which means the module loses less power during hot weather, and the N-type HJT cells, which are known for their excellent performance in low light.
This is a good choice for residential and commercial installations, especially where durability, aesthetics, and long-term energy yield are important.
Ranking

Residential and commercial.
Hot climates.
Top 17% of the HJT 400-450 W segment, against a median of 221.6.
Top 20% of the HJT 400-450 W segment, against a median of 22.20%.
Bottom 23% of the HJT 400-450 W segment, against a median of -0.240.
- Efficiency of 22.5% matches the HJT 400-450W median
- Power density of 225.3 W/m² packs 3.7 W/m² more into the same footprint vs HJT 400-450W median (221.6 W/m²)
- At -0.26%/°C, loses 0.02pp more power per degree than HJT 400-450W median (-0.24%/°C)
- 90% bifaciality enables rear-side power generation, boosting yield by 4-14% on reflective surfaces
- In the top 29% for efficiency among all HJT panels

Datasheet charts
Measured curves published by SunEvo Solar in this model's datasheet. A chart carrying a wattage was measured on that variant alone - only the ones that describe 440 Wp appear here. The rest cover the whole series.
Simulations
Degradation from this panel's own datasheet figures. No inverter, soiling or shading losses.
Model: bifaciality × albedo × 0.6 view factor. A first-order estimate, not a yield simulation.
