The SpolarPV TM10 series is a line of solar modules built on N-type TOPCon technology, designed for installations where maximizing energy yield from every square meter of roof or ground space is essential. The use of half-cut cells combined with an advanced multi-busbar structure reduces resistive losses and limits the impact of partial shading on the module's overall performance, resulting in more stable energy production under real, variable weather conditions. TM10 is available in both a standard configuration and a dual glass version, which significantly improves mechanical durability, reduces microcracking, and extends the actual service life of the installation, while the dual glass variant additionally enables bifacial operation, boosting total energy yield without increasing the mounting area. For investors who value aesthetics, an ultra-black version is available, ideal for residential rooftop installations where appearance matters as much as performance. Low annual degradation and a long-term product warranty make the TM10 series suitable for both commercial and residential projects, delivering a predictable LCOE and reduced strain on the BoS thanks to higher operating currents.

About the TM10 series

6 answered

These answers cover the whole series. Where a figure differs, the specification above is this module's own.

What is the difference between N-type TOPCon technology in SpolarPV TM10 panels and classic P-type panels?
N-type TOPCon cells offer higher conversion efficiency and a lower annual degradation rate than traditional P-type PERC cells. In practice, this means the TM10 panel loses less power in its first year of operation and in subsequent years, resulting in higher real-world energy yield over the entire 30-year power warranty period.
What is the maximum power output of the SpolarPV TM10 panel and how many panels are needed for a 5 kWp installation?
TM10 series panels reach up to 430 Wp. To build a 5 kWp installation, you need approximately 12 modules. Thanks to higher operating currents resulting from multi-busbar technology, the installation requires less cabling and reduces the load on the inverter at the same power output.
What warranty comes with SpolarPV TM10 panels?
The manufacturer offers a 12-year product warranty and a 30-year power performance warranty. This is close to the standard offered by leading Tier 1 manufacturers, although SpolarPV currently does not hold Tier 1 status, which is worth considering when assessing the long-term financial stability of the warranty provider.
Does the dual glass TM10 version work bifacially and increase energy yield?
Yes, the dual glass variant of the TM10 series enables bifacial operation, capturing reflected light from the rear side of the panel as well. This increases total energy yield, especially over bright surfaces such as gravel or white roofing, without requiring additional mounting area.
Are SpolarPV TM10 panels suitable for residential roofs in terms of appearance?
Yes, an ultra-black version is available for residential customers, featuring a uniform dark frame and backsheet. This option is commonly chosen for pitched roofs of single-family homes, where the visual appearance of the installation matters as much as its energy performance.
Where is SpolarPV manufactured, and is it worth investing in panels from a non-Tier 1 manufacturer?
SpolarPV is a manufacturer based in China that does not currently hold Bloomberg NEF Tier 1 status. This does not indicate inferior technical quality, but investors should pay closer attention to warranty terms, the company's market track record, and service availability, since Tier 1 status is often used as a simplified indicator of manufacturer financial stability.
