Middle of its segment, weak in heat
The Solaria PowerXT series is designed to maximize energy generation from the same roof area - without compromising aesthetics or reliability. A key advantage is the "shingled” technology (module layout), which minimizes unused space on the module and reduces losses associated with traditional connections. This allows the panels to offer <b>high power density, which is particularly beneficial when every square meter counts - in residential homes, multi-family buildings, and small commercial installations.
PowerXT also features improved performance in partially shaded conditions - parallel connections between the strings minimize power loss when a shadow from a chimney, tree, or skylight covers part of the module. In addition, connections without tape and soldering are used, which reduces the number of potential failure points over the long term. The overall design features a uniform, “pure black” appearance, ideal for investors who prioritize a consistent architectural style.

Residential, commercial and shaded-installations.
Hot climates, owners who want a long output guarantee and tight roof space.
Bottom 4% of the 260-460 W band, against a median of -0.330. Ranked 13,579th in the whole database.
Bottom 22% of the 260-460 W band, against a median of 30 yrs.
Bottom 23% of the 260-460 W band, against a median of 20.97%.
- Efficiency of 19.9% is 1.9pp below the database median (21.8%)
- At 199.0 W/m², this panel generates 19.1 W/m² less per unit area than database median (218.1 W/m²)
- Temperature coefficient of -0.39%/°C is 0.09pp worse than database median (-0.30%/°C) - higher losses in summer heat
- At 21.0 kg, this panel is 5.5 kg lighter than database median (26.5 kg) - easier handling during installation
- #12331 for efficiency, #13579 for temperature performance out of 14005 panels
