Light for its output, weak in heat
The Solar N Plus SP-N16/108H lightweight module has been designed for installations where both power output and ease of transport and assembly are important. These modules are based on N-type monocrystalline cells with TOPCon technology, which maintain their parameters over time and are less susceptible to typical degradation phenomena seen in older designs. In practice, this means more stable energy production over many years, as well as a better return on investment.
A key feature of this series is its lightweight design, which makes it easier to work on roofs with limited load-bearing capacity, in retrofit projects, and where minimizing on-site loads and logistics is important. The use of an anti-reflective coating helps to more effectively utilize light in varying solar conditions, and the high IP rating of the junction box increases resistance to moisture and dust.
This is a good choice for homes, small businesses, and premium projects where technology, durability, and practical installation are all important considerations.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Residential and commercial.
Hot climates.
Top 1% of the TOPCon 400-450 W segment, against a median of 51.4. Ranked 98th in the whole database.
Top 4% of the TOPCon 400-450 W segment, against a median of 220.2. Ranked 3,710th in the whole database.
Top 9% of the TOPCon 400-450 W segment, against a median of 22.00%. Ranked 4,222nd in the whole database.
Bottom 3% of the TOPCon 400-450 W segment, against a median of -0.290. Ranked 10,419th in the whole database.
- Efficiency of 22.5% matches the TOPCon 400-450W median
- Power density of 226.0 W/m² packs 5.8 W/m² more into the same footprint vs TOPCon 400-450W median (220.2 W/m²)
- -0.35%/°C temperature coefficient - 0.06pp worse than TOPCon 400-450W median (-0.29%/°C), expect higher hot weather losses
- 10.8 kg weight - 11.2 kg lighter than TOPCon 400-450W median (22.0 kg), reducing installation effort
- #4222 for efficiency, #10419 for temperature performance out of 14005 panels

Datasheet charts
Measured curves published by Solar N Plus in this model's datasheet. A chart carrying a wattage was measured on that variant alone - only the ones that describe 440 Wp appear here. The rest cover the whole series.
Simulations
Degradation from this panel's own datasheet figures. No inverter, soiling or shading losses.
