Space saver, no clear weak spot
The Renesola 210M Split Cell series, with a power output of 115W-120W, is designed for installations where maximizing efficiency on a limited surface area and stable performance in varying conditions are crucial. The use of split cell technology minimizes energy losses due to current flow within the cells, resulting in improved performance under partial shading and a reduced risk of localized overheating. The modules utilize multi-busbar interconnection, which improves current collection and increases resistance to micro-cracks that may occur during transportation or installation. Another advantage is excellent response to low sunlight, which is important in the Polish climate, especially in the mornings, evenings, and on cloudy days. This series is suitable for off-grid systems, campervans and boats, small emergency power systems, as well as DIY projects. If you are looking for a compact module that can effectively "tolerate" challenging operating conditions, then the 210M Split Cell is a reasonable alternative to many traditional panels of similar size.

Off-grid and shaded-installations.
Top 9% of the 20-220 W band, against a median of 158.7. Ranked 12,562nd in the whole database.
Top 10% of the 20-220 W band, against a median of 15.88%.
Top 13% of the 20-220 W band, against a median of 71.2.
TOPCon technology delivers 18.81-19.63% efficiency, clearly above peer comparables LinkSol LKS-5M-95-115W (17.2%) and Trina Solar TEG/Solar Tiles (18.5%). N-type cells also mean lower LID degradation compared to older P-type/PERC cells used in competing panels of similar format.
Split cell design lowers series resistance and reduces current losses under partial shading, cutting hot-spot risk - a real advantage for campers, boats, and off-grid systems where shading is far more common than on large rooftop arrays.
Multi-busbar cell interconnection improves current collection and reduces power loss from microcracks caused by transport or installation - valuable for DIY and mobile applications where the panel is more exposed to vibration and shock.
A full 30 years of both product and power warranty stands out versus typical terms in the small-panel segment (usually 10-12 years product, 25 years power) - an unusually long coverage period for a 115-120 W format module.
The module design delivers steadier output under low irradiance conditions - relevant in the Polish climate during mornings, evenings, and overcast days, translating into higher real-world energy yield relative to nominal STC ratings.
The series was manufactured from 2014 to 2020 and is now discontinued. This means limited availability of warranty service and replacement parts, plus difficulty matching modules when expanding an existing installation.
At 115-120 Wp, the module is impractical for standard rooftop installations or PV farms, where module count and wiring length scale proportionally. The series fits niche applications (off-grid, campers, boats, DIY) rather than mainstream prosumer solar.
- Efficiency of 19.6% is 3.6pp above the TOPCon 0-400W median (16.0%)
- Power density of 196.3 W/m² packs 36.5 W/m² more into the same footprint vs TOPCon 0-400W median (159.8 W/m²)
- At -0.35%/°C, loses 0.06pp more power per degree than TOPCon 0-400W median (-0.29%/°C)
- At 6.4 kg, this panel is 17.1 kg lighter than TOPCon 0-400W median (23.5 kg) - easier handling during installation
- In the top 90% for efficiency among all TOPCon panels
