Middle of its segment, weak in heat
The Panasonic EVERVOLT Solar Module Black Series 360K/350K is designed to maximize energy generation from a limited roof area - making it ideal for situations where every square meter and the aesthetics of the installation are important. The modules are distinguished by their full black design, which ensures a consistent look on modern roofs, without any distracting frame or cell contrasts.
A key advantage is the HJT half-cut heterojunction technology, which improves light conversion and operational stability in real-world conditions. In practice, this means improved performance at high temperatures and more predictable output when the sun heats the modules more intensely. Furthermore, the design supports continuous operation even with partial shading, which is important for chimneys, skylights, or nearby trees.
This is the ideal choice for homeowners and small businesses who want high-quality premium modules and reliable operation - thanks also to the long, comprehensive warranty that covers not only the product but also its operating parameters.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Residential, commercial, shaded-installations and hot-climate.
Hot climates, owners who want a long output guarantee and roofs where every square metre has to count.
Bottom 9% of the HJT 350-400 W segment, against a median of -0.259. Ranked 511th in the whole database.
Bottom 19% of the HJT 350-400 W segment, against a median of 30 yrs.
Bottom 22% of the HJT 350-400 W segment, against a median of 209.3.
Module efficiency of 20-20.6% via HJT technology clearly outperforms comparable 360 Wp panels in the segment, such as Corab Encor EC360M-6-120FB (19.27%), Lina Energy LE MEPV 108 (18.44%), and Hansol TD-AN3 (18.05%) - a lead of 1.3-2.5 percentage points.
Heterojunction (HJT) cells deliver a power temperature coefficient of 0.26%/°C, which the manufacturer describes as industry-leading. This results in less power loss during summer heat compared to typical PERC panels (usually 0.35-0.40%/°C).
The warranty simultaneously covers product, power performance, and labor (AllGuard/TripleGuard program) for 25 years, with a guaranteed minimum power output of 92% after that period - a broader scope of coverage than the standard linear warranty offered by many tier-1 manufacturers.
The half-cut cell layout combined with HJT technology limits the impact of partial shading (chimneys, dormers, trees) on the whole string's output, improving production stability under real rooftop conditions.
The all-black frame, backsheet, and cell styling gives a uniform look on modern roofs, an important selection criterion for residential customers who prioritize installation aesthetics.
Panasonic officially exited the solar and energy storage market in April 2025, ending the EverVolt line. Existing AllGuard warranties are still being honored, but the series is no longer available for purchase, and long-term service and spare-parts availability now depends on the post-exit support structure.
Panasonic stopped manufacturing its own cells and modules back in 2022, outsourcing production to REC Group, while its share of US solar installations fell from 35% in 2020 to just 6% by 2024. The premium brand was no longer fully backed by in-house manufacturing capacity during the series' final years on the market.
- Efficiency of 20.6% matches the HJT 0-400W median
- At 205.9 W/m² power density, roof space requirements are typical for HJT 0-400W panels
- At -0.26%/°C, hot weather performance is typical for HJT 0-400W panels
- 19.5 kg weight - 2.0 kg lighter than HJT 0-400W median (21.5 kg), reducing installation effort
- Ranked #11093 out of 14005 panels for efficiency in the database
