LEPV 132 HC ICON PLUS 500Wp (BLACK - STANDARD - BICOLOUR)
Middle of its segment, short guarantee
The Lina Energy LEPV 132 HC ICON PLUS series is designed for high power density on a limited surface area, making it ideal for applications where every square meter of roof or structure counts. The use of monocrystalline cells in a half-cut configuration improves module performance under partial shading and reduces losses in everyday operation - this is a real advantage in residential buildings, on roofs with dormers, chimneys, or company installations with infrastructure elements on the roof.
The tempered glass with anti-reflective coating enhances performance in low light conditions and reduces reflections, and the watertight junction box with high IP rating increases resistance to moisture and dust in outdoor conditions. The modules also offer compatibility with modern installation systems thanks to popular connectors, making for quick and easy assembly.
This is a good option for home, commercial, and PV farm installations, where stable performance, durability, and predictable yields over the years are important.

Residential, commercial and shaded-installations.
Owners who want a long output guarantee and hot climates.
Bottom 14% of the 400-600 W band, against a median of 30 yrs.
Bottom 15% of the 400-600 W band, against a median of -0.300.
Using 132 half-cut monocrystalline cells reduces power losses under partial shading (chimneys, dormers) and lowers thermal stress on the module compared to full-size cell designs.
According to the official datasheet, the Pmax temperature coefficient is -0.35%/°C, better than the typical -0.38 to -0.40%/°C seen in older PERC modules - meaningfully lower power losses on hot days.
The anti-reflective coating on 3.2mm tempered glass improves yield at low light-incidence angles (early morning/evening, winter), and the sealed junction box with a high IP rating boosts resistance to moisture and dust.
At 2094x1134mm and 500 Wp, the module achieves roughly 210 W/m², yielding more energy from limited roof area than older full-cell designs of similar power.
The series has been on the market since 2021 and has not been discontinued (active status), ensuring service, documentation, and replacement-part availability throughout the system's lifetime.
The 21.06% efficiency is below the average of comparable 500 Wp peer models (Gokin GK-3-54HGF 24.5%, Selfa SV120M.2.4 22.6%, average ~22.7%) - roughly a 7% relative gap that can translate into lower yield for the same mounting area.
The 20-year product warranty is shorter than the current standard among leading N-type/TOPCon manufacturers, who now offer 25-year product warranties and up to 30-year linear power warranties retaining >87% output.
Lina Energy (founded 2017, headquartered in the UK) does not appear in publicly available BNEF Tier 1 listings, which compared to established Asian manufacturers could matter for bank financing on large utility-scale PV projects.
- Efficiency of 21.1% is 0.8pp below the database median (21.8%)
- At 210.6 W/m², this panel generates 7.5 W/m² less per unit area than database median (218.1 W/m²)
- -0.35%/°C temperature coefficient - 0.05pp worse than database median (-0.30%/°C), expect higher hot weather losses
- In the top 69% for efficiency among all N-type panels
