KIOTO Solar SOLAR-MODULE for Standard Applications 35 mm are double-glass modules with an anodized aluminum frame, designed for versatile applications – from standard roof installations to large-scale photovoltaic farms. A key feature of this series is TOPCON bifacial technology in a half-cut configuration, which absorbs solar radiation from both the front and back of the module – the active rear surface provides a significant additional energy yield compared to traditional monofacial panels, which is particularly beneficial in installations with reflective surfaces or ground-mounted systems. The anti-reflective front glass minimizes light losses, while the partially printed ceramic back glass provides an aesthetically pleasing and uniform appearance, which is highly valued in representative installations. Decentralized connection boxes with original Stäubli MC4 EVO2 connectors simplify wiring and increase system reliability, while the half-cut cell arrangement minimizes the impact of partial shading on energy production. The modules have undergone rigorous tests for solar fog and ammonia, confirmed by IEC certifications, which guarantees long-term durability even in demanding climatic and environmental conditions.
