Efficiency leader, no clear weak spot
The Jinko Solar Tiger Neo 54HL4M-BDV series are modules engineered for maximum yield from the same surface area, combining the benefits of bifacial dual-glass construction with N-type TOPCon cells. Dual-sided operation enables truly recovering energy from reflected light (such as off a light-colored roof, gravel, membrane, or snow), leading to a higher annual energy output, especially in space-constrained installations.
A key feature of this series is HOT 3.0 (with enhanced metallization), focused on higher efficiency and module performance stability over time. This translates to reduced risks of degradation common in older technologies and more predictable yields over the long term. Furthermore, the rigid, glass-to-glass structure supports mechanical durability and enhanced longevity in demanding environmental conditions.
This is an excellent choice for residential and commercial installations, particularly where low lifecycle energy cost, high reliability, and additional rear side gain are important.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Residential, commercial and hot-climate.
Top 5% of the TOPCon 500-550 W segment, against a median of 22.73%. Ranked 621st in the whole database.
Top 5% of the TOPCon 500-550 W segment, against a median of 227.4. Ranked 645th in the whole database.
N-type TOPCon cells featuring HOT 3.0 metallization enhancement (SMBB) deliver a temperature coefficient of Pmax at -0.29%/°C, outperforming standard PERC modules (-0.35%/°C). Reduced susceptibility to LID and LeTID degradation results in more stable long-term energy output.
Peak module efficiency of 23.61% matches the best peer comparables (Jolywood JW-HD108N-R2: 23.6%) and clearly exceeds VSUN N-132MH-BB TOPCon (22.11%), enabling higher energy yield from the same roof or ground area.
JinkoSolar guarantees annual degradation of 0.40% (years 2–30) with 1% in year one, ensuring a minimum of 87.4% of rated power after 30 years. The linear warranty scope exceeds the 25-year terms offered by many competing Tier-1 manufacturers.
JinkoSolar is the only PV module manufacturer to achieve a 100% bankability score in Bloomberg BNEF's PV Module Bankability Survey, holding the top position for 10 consecutive years (2024–2025 data). This reduces counterparty risk for project finance and supports LCOE predictability over the 30-year warranty period.
Bifacial cells encapsulated in a dual-glass frame (2+2 mm tempered glass) recover energy from reflected albedo (gravel, white membrane, snow) while delivering superior mechanical resistance to snow and wind loads, and better moisture ingress protection compared to backsheet-based modules.
The module weighs approximately 27 kg (1961×1134×30 mm, dual 2 mm glass), equating to roughly 12.2 kg/m². On older structures with limited load-bearing capacity, a structural assessment may be required or the format may be outright unsuitable — a constraint JinkoSolar itself acknowledged by launching the "Light Diamond" lightweight line.
Full bifacial potential is realized in ground-mount or flat-roof installations with high-albedo surfaces, where rear-side gain can reach 10–25% additional yield. On typical pitched residential roofs with dark underlays, rear-side irradiance is significantly reduced, narrowing the cost-per-watt advantage over cheaper monofacial alternatives.
- Efficiency of 23.6% is 0.9pp above the TOPCon 500-550W median (22.7%)
- At 236.1 W/m² power density, this panel generates 8.7 W/m² more per unit area than TOPCon 500-550W median (227.4 W/m²)
- Temperature coefficient of -0.29%/°C matches the TOPCon 500-550W median
- Ranked #621 out of 14005 panels for efficiency in the database
