Strong in heat, no clear weak spot
The Tiger Neo III 54QL6-DV series is a mono-facial dual glass module built for installations where maximizing power density on available roof space is the priority. The panel is based on an enhanced N-type TOPCon platform, allowing the cells to capture more available light and maintain high performance even under unfavorable angles of incidence. The 216 half-cut cell architecture, combined with advanced grid patterning and multi-busbar technology, delivers optimized heat resistance, reducing output losses during hot summer days. The dual glass construction along with upgraded metallization and encapsulation provide high resistance to PID, LID/LeTID and UV degradation, meaningfully extending system lifespan and stabilizing revenue over time. The module also stands out for its enhanced mechanical load resistance, verified through static load testing, making it a solid choice for sites exposed to wind and snow. On top of that, it offers proven strong performance in low-light conditions, valuable in the frequently overcast weather typical of the Polish climate. The whole package is backed by a long-term linear power warranty, translating into predictable, low LCOE over the system's lifetime.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Residential, commercial, hot-climate, shaded-installations and cold-climate.
Top 2% of the TOPCon 500-550 W segment, against a median of -0.290. Ranked 511th in the whole database.
Top 6% of the TOPCon 500-550 W segment, against a median of 22.73%. Ranked 627th in the whole database.
Top 6% of the TOPCon 500-550 W segment, against a median of 227.4. Ranked 650th in the whole database.
Efficiency of 23.38–24.27% clearly outperforms peer comparables in the 525–545 Wp segment: Waaree ARKA (21.17%), S-Energy SE65-72BGJ (21.1%), and JA Solar JAM60D42 LB (23.3%). This translates into higher energy yield from the same roof area.
The advanced N-type TOPCon platform combined with half-cut cells and multi-busbar grid design reduces resistive losses and improves high-temperature behavior, meaningfully lowering output drops on hot summer days.
The manufacturer states an average annual power degradation of about 0.4% (Jinko Solar warranty card REV. EN20240521), so over the 30-year warranty period power output stays well above the ~84.8% typical of competitors offering only 25-year warranties.
Dual glass paired with improved encapsulation and metallization provides strong resistance to PID, LID/LeTID and UV degradation, reducing the risk of premature performance loss over the installation's lifetime.
Jinko Solar (founded 2006, HQ China) holds Tier-1 bankable status, making project financing easier for banks and lessors and increasing confidence in fulfilling warranty claims.
The 54QL6-DV series is monofacial, while some competing TOPCon models on the market offer bifacial variants with an additional 5–15% energy gain over bright ground surfaces or on trackers — this option is not available here.
The dual glass build increases module weight compared to lighter backsheet variants, which can raise transport costs and roof structural load requirements.
- Efficiency of 23.6% is 0.9pp above the TOPCon 500-550W median (22.7%)
- At 236.1 W/m² power density, this panel generates 8.7 W/m² more per unit area than TOPCon 500-550W median (227.4 W/m²)
- -0.26%/°C temperature coefficient (median: -0.29%/°C) - retains ~1% more power at high temperatures
- In the top 4% for efficiency among all TOPCon panels
