Strong in heat, modest efficiency
The Huasun HSN-210R-B64 series is designed to prioritize stable yield in challenging operating conditions and maximize diffuse light utilization. These modules, based on n-type cells using HJT technology, perform exceptionally well at high temperatures and maintain their parameters over time. Another key feature is the bifacial design - the module can operate not only "frontally," but also harness reflections from the ground, which genuinely increases energy production in properly designed systems.
In practice, the HSN-210R-B64 addresses common issues such as yield drops during hot periods and space limitations on the mounting surface - especially in light roof projects, carports, or agricultural solutions. The application of HJT technology and n-type cells helps minimize degradation and improves yield predictability. This is an excellent choice for investors seeking high energy yield from diffuse light and looking to build installations with a better annual production balance.

Agrivoltaic, hot-climate, residential and commercial.
Tight roof space and roofs where every square metre has to count.
Top 23% of the HJT 195-395 W segment, against a median of -0.258.
Bottom 10% of the HJT 195-395 W segment, against a median of 20.60%. Ranked 13,845th in the whole database.
Bottom 10% of the HJT 195-395 W segment, against a median of 205.9. Ranked 13,829th in the whole database.
The HJT cells in the HSN-210R-B64 achieve a temperature coefficient of -0.24%/°C — 31% better than PERC (-0.35%/°C) and 20% better than TOPCon (-0.30%/°C). At a typical module operating temperature of 65°C, this translates to approximately 4–5% higher retained power output compared to a PERC module with identical STC nameplate rating.
The naturally symmetrical heterojunction structure enables a bifaciality factor above 90%, versus 70–75% typical for bifacial PERC. In agrivoltaic installations over light-colored ground surfaces (soil, sand, light mulch), this realistically boosts energy yield by several percent at no additional BoS cost.
Huasun provides a 30-year linear power output guarantee alongside a 15-year product warranty. The linear degradation profile improves revenue predictability in project-finance models and extends the LCOE calculation horizon compared to products with shorter power warranties.
Huasun achieved BNEF Tier-1 manufacturer status (confirmed Q1 2025), ensuring bankability for projects requiring external financing or insurance. Modules in the agrivoltaics line hold TÜV Rheinland certification, confirming compliance with safety standards for specialized dual-use applications.
The HSN-210R-B64 series is specifically engineered for agrivoltaic systems: approximately 33% photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) transmission enables crop growth beneath the modules — a capability unavailable in standard bifacial panels that block virtually all light. Huasun developed this technology in partnership with French agri-PV operator Feedgy.
Against comparable transparent and bifacial modules in a similar power range — Solar-Fabrik Mono S4 Halfcut Transparency Project (15.11%) and AE Solar Terra E CMD-72BD (15.39%) — the HSN-210R-B64 series trails by 2–8% in module efficiency. This requires proportionally more mounting area to achieve the same target system capacity.
The Tier-1 module industry standard for product (materials and workmanship) warranty is 25 years. The HSN-210R-B64 series offers only 15 years, which may be a barrier for bank-financed or fund-financed projects that require full warranty coverage aligned with the loan tenor (typically 20–25 years).
- Module efficiency of 14.8% is 5.8pp below average for HJT 0-400W panels (median: 20.6%)
- At 147.6 W/m², this panel generates 58.8 W/m² less per unit area than HJT 0-400W median (206.4 W/m²)
- Temperature coefficient of -0.24%/°C matches the HJT 0-400W median
- 90% bifaciality enables rear-side power generation, boosting yield by 4-14% on reflective surfaces
- #13845 for efficiency, #13 for temperature performance out of 14005 panels
