Solid all-round for its segment
The Hanersun Hitouch 6 (HN21-60HT) series is designed for maximum installation cost-effectiveness, thanks to its large-format cells and solutions that effectively minimize losses within the module. The use of PERC cells in combination with half-cut construction improves performance under partial shading and reduces the risk of yield losses in less ideal rooftop conditions. A key feature is the SMBB with round conductors - this configuration collects current more effectively and helps to utilize light more efficiently, resulting in more stable annual yields. The manufacturer also emphasizes high-density encapsulation, which improves cell packing and supports the long-term reliability of the module. The HN21-60HT variant is suitable for both commercial and larger ground-mounted installations, where quick assembly, predictable energy production, and a favorable BOS cost balance are important. The All Black option facilitates integration with modern architecture, without compromising on quality.

The bifacial design captures 5–25% more energy compared to its monofacial counterpart by absorbing light reflected from the mounting surface. A bifaciality factor of 70–80% is typical for the PERC segment and performs well in ground-mount installations and flat rooftops with high-albedo surfaces.
Super Multi-Busbar technology with round-wire conductors reduces series resistance and improves light scattering across the cell, which — according to manufacturer data — translates to approximately 2% higher module power output compared to conventional flat-ribbon busbars. Round conductors also exhibit greater tolerance to thermomechanical stress, contributing to long-term module durability.
Splitting cells in half reduces resistive losses and mitigates the impact of partial shading — the module operates as two independent sections, so shading on one half of the panel does not eliminate the output of the entire module. The 210 mm cell format simultaneously delivers high unit power (590–600 Wp) within a standard module footprint.
The manufacturer provides a 30-year linear power output warranty, exceeding the mid-tier industry standard of 25 years. Combined with a 15-year product warranty, the long-term O&M risk exposure over the asset's lifecycle is significantly reduced for commercial investors.
A cell-to-cell spacing of just 0.5 mm maximizes the module's active area and enhances laminate integrity, directly improving long-term reliability and reducing susceptibility to potential-induced degradation (PID).
The HN21-60HT series was manufactured from 2021 to 2023 and has been officially discontinued. Availability of new modules, replacement units, and warranty service support is limited to distributor stock; the risk of being unable to source identical modules for system expansion is real.
Module efficiency of 20.8–21.2% is notably lower than that of direct N-type TOPCon peers: Tongwei TWMND reaches 23.2%, and Lexron 144 CELL TOPCON achieves 23.23%. The ~2 percentage point gap translates to approximately 9–10% less energy yield from the same roof area, which directly undermines project economics where mounting space is constrained.
Hanersun did not achieve a Tier-1 BNEF ranking until Q2 2023 — at the very end of the HN21-60HT series lifecycle. Throughout most of 2021–2022, the manufacturer lacked formal bankability classification, which may have restricted project financing for commercial installations based on these modules and complicated investor due diligence.
- Efficiency of 21.2% matches the PERC 600-650W median
- At 212.0 W/m² power density, roof space requirements are typical for PERC 600-650W panels
- Temperature coefficient of -0.35%/°C matches the PERC 600-650W median
- 78% bifaciality enables rear-side power generation, boosting yield by 4-12% on reflective surfaces
- In the top 65% for efficiency among all PERC panels
