Strong in heat, no clear weak spot
The Goldi Solar HELOC PRO series is designed for high performance in real-world conditions, even when space is limited or weather is unfavorable. The modules utilize a half-cut architecture and a multi-busbar technology, which helps minimize current losses and improves stability under partial shading. The use of advanced glass and textured surface of the cells results in improved performance in low light, ensuring that HELOC PRO maintains solid output even in autumn and winter.
In practice, this series solves two common problems for investors: the need to maximize energy production from every square meter of roof space, and the risk of power drops due to shading and degradation. It also includes features such as Anti-PID resistance and a robust mechanical design. HELOC PRO is suitable for rooftop and ground-mounted installations for businesses, agriculture, and institutional projects. It stands out from the competition due to its High Efficiency - Low on Carbon approach, which combines high performance with a focus on reducing the carbon footprint in the manufacturing process.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Commercial, utility-scale and shaded-installations.
Top 3% of the PERC 450-500 W segment, against a median of -0.350. Ranked 8,312th in the whole database.
TOPCon variants of the HELOC PRO series achieve 23.03% module efficiency, outperforming peer comparables Talesun BISTAR (21.5%) and Seraphim Seco (21.46%) by more than 1.5 percentage points. The result is only marginally surpassed by the Tongwei TWMND (23.2%), which is, however, a bifacial module.
Goldi Solar achieved Top Performer status in the 10th edition of the PV Module Reliability Scorecard (2024) — 16 modules in the series received recognition in TC, DH, PID, and LID+LETID testing, independently confirming above-average durability and degradation resistance under real-world conditions.
Goldi Solar appears on the Bloomberg NEF Tier-1 bankable manufacturers list, facilitating non-recourse project financing for commercial and utility-scale installations. The designation has been maintained continuously since 2020.
Dual glass (glass-glass) variants are covered by a 30-year linear power warranty, while peer comparables Talesun and Seraphim offer a standard 25-year warranty. Backsheet versions retain a 25-year warranty — above the market minimum.
The broad portfolio within a single series — ranging from 390 Wp (prosumer installations, space-constrained rooftops) to 600 Wp (ground-mount and commercial projects) across both cell technologies — allows module selection without changing suppliers and simplifies logistics for multi-segment projects.
All 49 HELOC PRO variants are monofacial modules (is_bifacial: false). The direct peer comparable — Tongwei TWMND 72HD 580–600W — achieves 23.2% efficiency precisely in its bifacial configuration, typically generating 5–15% additional annual energy yield in ground-mount and agri-PV installations through albedo reflection. This limits the series' applicability in projects where bifaciality is a standard tendering requirement.
- At 21.0% efficiency, this panel is on par with typical PERC 450-500W modules
- At 210.3 W/m² power density, roof space requirements are typical for PERC 450-500W panels
- Temperature coefficient of -0.32%/°C vs median -0.35%/°C means ~1% less power loss at 65°C
- Bifacial design (70% factor) captures reflected light - adds 4-10% yield on ground-mount or white roof
- #9671 for efficiency, #8312 for temperature performance out of 14005 panels
