The SOLID Bifacial Anti-Glare series from SoliTek is a unique solution for installations that require both high aesthetics and environmental safety. A key innovation is the Satin glass with a special surface structure, which reduces light reflection to below 3600 cd/m², while standard panels achieve over 10,000 cd/m². Importantly, this effect is achieved without additional coatings or films - solely through the processing of the glass itself, which ensures the long-term durability of the anti-glare properties. This makes the modules the ideal choice for installations on roads, airports, hiking trails, public buildings, and historic sites, where blinding reflections could pose a hazard or cause discomfort to the surroundings. The TOPCon n-type bifacial technology allows for energy generation from both sides of the panel, increasing output even in diffuse light conditions. The glass-glass construction provides exceptional mechanical strength, IP68 sealing, fire class A certification, and resistance to ammonia and salt fog. The series is available in aesthetically pleasing full-black versions - both framed and frameless - making it a flexible solution for roof and facade installations. The entire product is covered by a 30-year product and performance warranty.

About the SOLID series Bifacial Anti-Glare series

6 answered

These answers cover the whole series. Where a figure differs, the specification above is this module's own.

What makes the SoliTek SOLID Bifacial Anti-Glare different from standard solar panels in terms of glare reduction?
The SoliTek SOLID Bifacial Anti-Glare series uses SATIN glass with a specially structured surface that reduces reflected luminance to below 3,600 cd/m², compared to over 10,000 cd/m² for standard panels. Crucially, this is achieved without any additional coatings or films - solely through glass processing - which ensures the anti-glare properties remain effective for the full 30-year service life without degradation.
Can SoliTek SOLID Bifacial Anti-Glare 425W panels be installed on both pitched rooftops and building facades?
Yes. The series is available in framed variants (35 mm and 40 mm aluminum frame) and a frameless version, all in a full-black aesthetic. Frameless modules are well-suited for facade and BIPV applications, while framed versions work on pitched and flat rooftops. The glass-glass construction with IP68-rated junction box and Fire Class A certification meets the requirements for public buildings and listed heritage sites.
What warranty does SoliTek offer on the SOLID Bifacial Anti-Glare series?
SoliTek provides a 30-year product warranty and a 30-year power output warranty on the SOLID Bifacial Anti-Glare series. This covers both physical defects and guaranteed performance retention, making it one of the longest combined warranties available in the European market - many competitors offer only 25-year terms.
Does bifacial TOPCon technology deliver real gains in Central European climates with frequent cloud cover?
Yes. N-type TOPCon cells perform especially well under diffuse irradiance, which dominates in Central Europe during autumn and winter. The low temperature coefficient of Pmax at -0.300%/°C minimizes summer power losses, while the bifacial design captures albedo-reflected light from the rear side. In typical Central European conditions, the bifacial gain is estimated at 5-15% depending on ground albedo and tilt angle.
How heavy is the SoliTek SOLID Bifacial Anti-Glare 425W module and do standard roof structures handle the load?
The module weighs approximately 33 kg due to the dual 3.2 mm glass-glass construction - noticeably heavier than glass-backsheet panels at around 20-22 kg. A structural assessment of the roof or mounting surface is advisable before installation. In return, the glass-glass build delivers snow load resistance up to 10,500 Pa, wind load resistance up to 4,500 Pa, and certified ammonia and salt mist resistance for harsh environments.
Where are SoliTek SOLID Bifacial Anti-Glare panels manufactured and what certifications do they carry?
SoliTek is a Lithuanian manufacturer based in Vilnius, producing modules within the European Union - which eliminates import tariff risk and shortens the supply chain. The panels carry Fire Class A certification, IP68-rated junction box, ammonia resistance, and salt mist resistance certifications. SoliTek is also among the few European PV manufacturers holding the Cradle to Cradle certification, verifying responsible materials management.
