Efficiency leader, no clear weak spot
The DMEGC INFINITY RT (DMxxxM10RT-B54HSW) series are modules designed for maximum energy production from the same rooftop area, without compromises on durability. The use of N-type TOPCon cells helps maintain high efficiency over time and minimizes typical losses due to module aging, which has a significant impact on the profitability of installations over many years. The 108 half-cut construction supports stable performance under partial shading and reduces the risk of hotspots, while the double-glass structure enhances resistance to atmospheric conditions and mechanical stress. In practice, this means fewer unexpected drops in yield and greater predictability in energy production. An additional advantage is enhanced PID resistance, which is particularly important for demanding rooftop and commercial installations. This is the series for residential and C&I applications, where high power density, reliability, and consistent performance under less-than-ideal lighting conditions are key.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Residential, commercial and shaded-installations.
Top 9% of the TOPCon 450-500 W segment, against a median of 22.52%. Ranked 1,017th in the whole database.
Top 10% of the TOPCon 450-500 W segment, against a median of 225.2.
The peak efficiency of 23.3% clearly outperforms the primary peer comparables: the DAH DHN-54R18 tops out at 22.78%, while the JS Solar/Jinko JS182MHC120 reaches only 21.48%. Even the lower bound of the series (22.3%) sits above the median of the benchmarked peer group, directly translating into higher power output from the same roof area.
N-type TOPCon technology eliminates the Light Induced Degradation (LID) effect characteristic of P-type PERC cells. The manufacturer guarantees degradation of ≤0.4%/year from year 2 onward, versus the industry average estimated at ~0.55–0.7%/year for PERC modules. Over a 25-year horizon, this translates into a measurably higher cumulative energy yield.
The power warranty spans 30 years with a guaranteed minimum of 87.4% of rated Pmax, placing it among the longest commitments in the residential/C&I segment. The peer comparable DAH DHN-54R18 offers a matching 87.4% floor at year 30, whereas the JS Solar/Jinko module in the comparison is limited to 25 years — making DMEGC the more favorable choice for projects with long financing horizons.
DMEGC Solar holds Tier-1 status in the BloombergNEF ranking at least through Q3 2025, confirming eligibility for non-recourse project debt financing. The company has been operating since 1980 with a manufacturing capacity of 21 GW (2025), which reduces the risk of warranty service discontinuity over a 25–30-year operational lifetime.
The glass-glass laminate (2× 1.6 mm) eliminates backsheet aging and improves resistance to mechanical loads (5,400 Pa snow / 2,400 Pa wind per datasheet). A bifaciality factor of 80% ±5% enables an additional 5–15% energy gain from ground-reflected irradiance in ground-mount installations and on light-colored rooftops.
The glass-glass construction results in a module weight of approximately 24–26 kg (versus ~20–22 kg for comparable single-glass modules). On large rooftop installations, this may increase labor costs and require a structural load-bearing assessment of the roof surface — a significant logistical consideration, particularly in single-family residential construction.
The datasheet and product documentation specify Fire Class C per IEC 61730. Certain commercial projects or installations on rooftops near property boundaries may be subject to local requirements mandating Class A, which could disqualify this module from a subset of B2B tenders without additional compliance analysis.
- At 23.3% efficiency, this panel is 0.8pp above typical TOPCon 450-500W modules (median: 22.5%)
- 232.7 W/m² power density - 7.5 W/m² more than TOPCon 450-500W median (225.2 W/m²), more power per roof area
- At -0.29%/°C, hot weather performance is typical for TOPCon 450-500W panels
- 80% bifaciality enables rear-side power generation, boosting yield by 4-12% on reflective surfaces
- #1017 for efficiency, #2165 for temperature performance out of 14005 panels
