Light for its output, no clear weak spot
The DMEGC DMxXXM10RT-54HBW series are modules based on N-type monocrystalline cells in TOPCon technology, designed for high energy yield under real operating conditions. The use of N-type TOPCon cells helps limit power losses over time and stabilizes energy production even under non-ideal conditions - such as overcast skies or during morning and afternoon hours. In practice, this means more predictable energy returns and better investment profitability.
A key feature of this series is the glass-glass construction, which increases resistance to atmospheric factors and supports long-term module durability. Additionally, bifaciality is available in this family, enabling the use of reflected light - particularly beneficial on light-colored roofs, carports, and open ground.
This is an excellent choice for investors seeking high durability and reliable performance in low-light conditions - suitable for both residential and commercial applications, where stable energy returns and operational resilience are key.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Residential and commercial.
Top 6% of the TOPCon 450-500 W segment, against a median of 52.2. Ranked 530th in the whole database.
Top 17% of the TOPCon 450-500 W segment, against a median of 22.52%.
Top 20% of the TOPCon 450-500 W segment, against a median of 225.2.
The peak efficiency of 23.27% outperforms the primary peer DAH DHN-54R18/DG(BW), which tops out at 22.78% (+0.49 pp), and clearly surpasses JS Solar and Jinko Solar at 21.48%. This translates into higher energy yield per m² of installed area.
N-type TOPCon cells are not susceptible to the LID/LeTID phenomena characteristic of P-type PERC. The manufacturer guarantees degradation of ≤1% in the first year and ≤0.4%/year in years 2–30, with a minimum power output of ≥87.4% after 30 years of operation.
The dual-glass laminate provides resistance to snow loads up to 5,400 Pa and wind loads up to 2,400 Pa, reduces moisture ingress, and improves PID resistance – particularly relevant in the Polish climate with its high seasonal temperature amplitude.
A linear 30-year power warranty with a ≥87.4% nominal power threshold is a premium-class standard; modules from the 2024 series are covered through 2054. By comparison, standard market PERC modules typically offer 25 years with a threshold of approximately 84.8%.
DMEGC Solar maintains Tier 1 status per BloombergNEF (confirmed Q3 2025), which facilitates bank financing for commercial installations and qualifies the modules for most subsidy programs in Poland (including Mój Prąd and EIB loan schemes).
The series is monofacial, whereas the direct peer DAH DHN-54R18/DG(BW) offers a bifacial configuration within the identical power range of 450–465 W. On ground-mount and carport installations, a bifacial gain of 5–15% can offset DMEGC's efficiency advantage (23.27% vs. 22.78% for DAH), making this model less competitive in those application types.
- Efficiency of 23.0% matches the TOPCon 450-500W median
- Power density of 230.2 W/m² packs 5.0 W/m² more into the same footprint vs TOPCon 450-500W median (225.2 W/m²)
- Temperature coefficient of -0.29%/°C matches the TOPCon 450-500W median
- 20.6 kg weight - 3.4 kg lighter than TOPCon 450-500W median (24.0 kg), reducing installation effort
- #1797 for efficiency, #2165 for temperature performance out of 14005 panels
