Space saver, short guarantee
The BYD AURO N NLTK-27 series is based on advanced N-type TOPCon cell technology, which sets new efficiency standards in the Polish solar energy sector. A key differentiator of this line is its exceptional resistance to LID and LeTID degradation, which guarantees users high power yields for many years without rapid efficiency drops. Thanks to the use of bifacial cell activity, these modules can efficiently process light reflected from the ground, significantly increasing the profitability of investments in agrivoltaic farms and commercial installations. They solve the problem of power loss at high temperatures because they feature an excellent temperature coefficient, working more efficiently in full sun than traditional solutions. This series is dedicated to demanding investors for whom maximum power density on limited roof space is a priority. Compared to the competition, BYD AURO N also stands out for its excellent performance in low light intensity, ensuring electricity production from the early morning hours. The use of SMBB technology with multiple busbars shortens the electron flow path, minimizing internal losses and increasing the mechanical resistance of the panels to micro-cracks, making them one of the safest choices on the market.

Residential, commercial, agrivoltaic and hot-climate.
Owners who want a long output guarantee.
Top 2% of the TOPCon 400-450 W segment, against a median of 220.2. Ranked 2,790th in the whole database.
Top 3% of the TOPCon 400-450 W segment, against a median of 22.00%. Ranked 3,005th in the whole database.
Top 7% of the TOPCon 400-450 W segment, against a median of 51.4. Ranked 1,101st in the whole database.
Bottom 7% of the TOPCon 400-450 W segment, against a median of 30 yrs. Ranked 9,798th in the whole database.
The module achieves up to 22.79% conversion efficiency — outperforming the Q-Cells Q.TRON BLACK (22.30%), Solitek SOLRIF D Satin (22.06%), and SunEvo SE6-46SC (21.40%). On a 30 m² roof, the gap versus SunEvo translates to approximately 40 Wp of additional installed capacity.
N-type TOPCon technology eliminates light-induced degradation (Zero LID) and guarantees annual power loss below 0.4%. Over a 25-year investment horizon, this delivers measurably higher cumulative energy yield than standard PERC modules (typically 0.55%/year), representing an estimated 3–4% more total energy produced.
The -0.30%/°C rating is more favorable than the typical -0.35%/°C for PERC technology. Under Polish summer conditions (module temperature approximately 60–65°C, i.e., ~35°C above STC), the module loses approximately 3.0% of power rather than 3.5% — a noticeable difference in peak output during July and August.
Bifacial cells enable 5–25% additional energy gain depending on ground albedo (white gravel ballast, light-colored roofing membrane, light concrete). Particularly relevant for ground-mount installations, agrivoltaic systems, and flat roofs with elevated racking.
BYD (founded 1995) appears on the BNEF Tier-1 list for Q1 2026, confirming its bankability for project financing. Its diversified portfolio — spanning batteries, EVs, and industrial energy — significantly mitigates manufacturer insolvency risk over the 25-year power warranty horizon.
A 12-year product warranty is the Tier-1 standard (on par with the Q-Cells Q.TRON BLACK in this segment), but premium manufacturers outside this tier offer substantially longer terms: REC Group 20 years, Panasonic EVERVOLT 25 years. For institutional investors with bankability requirements exceeding 15 years, this may be a compelling argument in favor of alternatives.
- Efficiency of 22.8% is 0.8pp above the TOPCon 400-450W median (22.0%)
- Power density of 227.9 W/m² packs 7.7 W/m² more into the same footprint vs TOPCon 400-450W median (220.2 W/m²)
- At -0.30%/°C, hot weather performance is typical for TOPCon 400-450W panels
- At 20.6 kg, this panel is 1.4 kg lighter than TOPCon 400-450W median (22.0 kg) - easier handling during installation
- Bifaciality factor of 80% can add 4-12% extra yield with reflective mounting surface
