Solid all-round for its segment
The AE Solar METEOR CMD-108BDS series is a breakthrough solution utilizing advanced N-type ABC cell technology, which completely eliminates front shading caused by busbars. By moving all contacts to the back of the cell, these panels achieve outstanding efficiency and offer a minimalist, black design ideal for modern architecture. The absence of front-side metallization is not just about aesthetics, but primarily about maximizing the absorption area, which directly addresses the problem of limited installation space on the roofs of single-family homes. Bifacial double-glass construction allows for additional energy yield from reflected radiation, significantly increasing the profitability of ground-mounted and carport installations. These modules stand out with negligible light-induced degradation, providing users with peace of mind and production stability for many years. The applied All Back Contact architecture minimizes the risk of micro-cracks and improves performance at high temperatures, distinguishing them from standard TOPCon modules. This solution is dedicated to the most demanding investors who expect the highest power density and uncompromising quality of workmanship. Exceptional resistance to extreme weather conditions makes the Meteor series one of the strongest points in the premium module range on the Polish market today.

AE Solar has been included in the Bloomberg NEF Tier-1 list for the 16th consecutive year (Q1 2025), and as the only European manufacturer, it achieved "High Bankability" status in 2024. This translates to easier financing for institutional projects and a higher level of guarantee security compared to most of its competitors.
The Meteor series has been awarded the Kiwa PVEL Top Performer Award 2025 and received a 5-star rating ('Excellent') in the PV Magazine test. This is an independent verification of durability and actual performance parameters, which is lacking in the offerings of KDM Kingdom Solar or Lina Energy, which are included in the peer comparison list.
The maximum efficiency of 22.57% exceeds that of the KDM SERIES (22.5%) and Lina Energy LEPV 132 ULTRA PREMIUM (22.37%), which, with a typical roof area of 40 m², translates to approximately 100 Wp more installed power compared to Lina Energy. This allows for optimization of installations on roofs with limited space.
N-type TOPCon cells exhibit a coefficient of -0.29%/°C, compared to the typical -0.35%/°C for older PERC modules. In Polish summer conditions (module temperature ~65°C, a difference of 35°C from STC), this translates to approximately 2% higher energy yield compared to PERC technology.
The manufacturer offers both a 30-year product warranty and a power output guarantee (>87.4% after 30 years), while most of the market – including typical KDM and Lina Energy modules – standardly offers a 25-year warranty. The glass-to-glass design eliminates the risk of EVA degradation and ensures long-term module sealing.
The maximum efficiency of 22.57% is 0.29% lower than Luxor ECO LINE N-TYPE TOPCon NON-REFLECT (22.86%). On a standard module measuring 1722×1134 mm, this translates to approximately 1.2% less peak power with the same surface area. For investors with very limited roof space, Luxor offers a power density that is unavailable in this series.
- At 21.8% efficiency, this panel is on par with typical TOPCon 400-450W modules
- Power density of 218.0 W/m² matches the TOPCon 400-450W median
- At -0.29%/°C, hot weather performance is typical for TOPCon 400-450W panels
- At 23.5 kg (1.5 kg above TOPCon 400-450W median of 22.0 kg), requires checking roof load capacity
- Bifacial design (80% factor) captures reflected light - adds 4-12% yield on ground-mount or white roof
