Growatt MIN series are single-phase grid-tied inverters designed for maximum yield in residential and small commercial installations. What sets them apart is their dual MPPT, enabling independent operation of two PV strings - a significant advantage for various roof orientations, multiple tilts, or partial shading, as the system optimizes the maximum power point more effectively and provides more stable energy production.
In practice, MIN boasts high European efficiency, translating to less energy loss under typical operating conditions in Poland and a better annual yield. XH versions feature battery readiness - you can start with solar alone and expand the system later without costly inverter replacement.
Furthermore, equipped with monitoring and communication via WiFi, LAN, or 4G modules and the Growatt app, it allows easy control of production, consumption, and potential alarms. The series holds all required certifications for the European markets and comes with a standard 10-year warranty for models up to 20 kW grid-connected.

Pros and cons
According to a report by S&P Global Commodity Insights, Growatt maintained its leading position in the residential single-phase inverter market in 2024. The scale of production ensures the availability of spare parts, a wide base of certified installers in Poland, and a lower risk of "orphaned product" within the 10-year warranty period.
The datasheet for the MIN 5000TL-X confirms a maximum efficiency of 98.4%, which is comparable to SMA Sunny Boy 5.0 (~98.0%) and Fronius Primo (~98.1%) at a significantly lower purchase price. The European efficiency range for this series is 97.0-97.5%, which, under typical Polish solar conditions (diffuse radiation for a significant portion of the year), translates into a realistic, rather than just nominal, energy yield.
Two independent MPPT trackers allow for the separate operation of PV arrays with different orientations, tilt angles, or levels of shading. In the practical installation context on the Polish market (typical gable roof, E/W orientation, or partial shading from a chimney), this is a real advantage - single-stage inverters from competitors in such configurations lose 5-12% of annual energy yield.
XH variants support both DC (battery connected directly to the DC inverter string) and AC-coupled configurations, with capacities up to 17.9 kWh (ARK HV series). Customers can start with just the PV system, and add the battery later without needing to replace the inverter - saving up to 2,000-3,500 zł compared to purchasing a hybrid inverter system immediately.
MP Solar Group (Ruda Śląska / Zabrze) is the exclusive distributor and service provider for Growatt in Poland, having provided uninterrupted service since 2016. Warranty claims are handled domestically - without requiring shipment to China, which reduces the downtime of installations and eliminates logistics costs for the end customer.
Growatt does not appear on the BNEF Tier 1 Power Inverter Manufacturers list (Q2 2025 includes, among others, GoodWe, SMA, and Huawei). For installations financed with investment loans or covered by bank guarantees, this may be a disqualifying factor or lead to higher credit margins. In the purely residential segment, this is a minor limitation, but for commercial installations above approximately 15 kWp, it is worth highlighting to the investor.
Users (reports on elektroda.pl, fotowoltaikaonline.pl, DIY Solar Forum 2024) have reported a persistent bug in the Growatt mobile app: daily production charts truncate values above 10 kWh, resulting in a continuous line appearance even under strong solar irradiance. This issue has not been fixed in the 2024-2025 app versions and makes it difficult to accurately analyze data for installations greater than 6 kWp.
