The GoodWe HT series are three-phase grid-tie inverters designed for large commercial and industrial installations, as well as PV farms. Reliability, rapid service, and low maintenance costs are key. They feature advanced string monitoring, enabling precise fault detection and O&M planning without guesswork. Thanks to multiple MPPTs, designing long strings, connecting modules with different orientations, and minimizing losses due to partial shading or uneven soiling is simplified.
In practice, high energy production is supported by high European efficiency - a particularly important feature reflecting real-world operating conditions in the Polish climate and typical load profiles. The HT series offers extensive communication and remote management capabilities, including integration with monitoring solutions and remote configuration and updates. Additionally, you receive IP66 protection and anti-corrosion C5 rating along with DC-side safety features. This is the choice for investors seeking reliable installation performance and easy string-level diagnostics.

Pros and cons
The HT series models 73-136 kW offer up to 12 MPPT - the same as the Sungrow SG250HX at a nominal power of 250 kW. This allows for the design of installations with arrays of different orientations and inclines, and reduces mismatch losses due to partial shading without the need to use string optimizers.
Built-in string current monitoring and remote IV curve diagnostics enable precise identification of faults (modules, bypass diodes, DC wiring) without the need for on-site physical inspection. This feature is standard, while in less expensive inverters, it requires external recorders or additional licensing costs.
The HT series achieves European efficiency levels of 98.1-98.5% (data from GW-HT 73-136K datasheet), placing it in the top decile of the C&I segment and being comparable to Huawei SUN2000 (~98.6% max). In a climate with predominantly diffuse radiation, European efficiency is a better indicator of annual yield than peak efficiency.
The IP66 certification and C5 corrosion class, in accordance with ISO 12944, represent a crucial combination for solar power plants in industrial, coastal, and agricultural areas. Many competitors in this segment only offer C5 as an optional, paid feature, or only provide C3-C4 in standard.
GoodWe maintains Tier 1 status according to BloombergNEF (verified in Q2 2025) - a crucial requirement for financing projects with non-recourse debt. The cumulative installed capacity of over 100 GW by the end of Q1 2025 confirms the stability of the manufacturer and the availability of a global service network.
Huawei (approximately 30%) and Sungrow (approximately 25%) together control more than half of the global inverter market for PV (Wood Mackenzie, 2024). GoodWe, with an estimated market share of approximately 4-5%, has a smaller ecosystem of pre-integrated solutions with third-party SCADA and EMS systems. For large institutional projects (>50 MW), a portion of EPC and financing banks include Huawei/Sungrow as preferred suppliers in term sheets, which could make it more difficult to bid against GoodWe HT.
