The Deye SUN-SG01HP3-EU series are hybrid three-phase inverters designed for on-grid operation, with the option for backup power and flexible energy source switching. In practice, this means stable PV system operation even when you aim to increase self-consumption or protect your facility against power supply interruptions. A major advantage is the multi-string MPPT technology-facilitating the design of rooftop systems with different orientations and helping minimize yield losses even with partial shading, as each panel area can be optimized independently. High European efficiency translates into better energy production under real-world operating conditions, not just in the lab. Robust communication and monitoring options (WiFi, LAN, and wired integrations) are also beneficial for daily operation, providing parameter views and quick diagnostics. This series is also compatible with high-voltage energy storage systems, valued in larger homes, as well as in commercial and industrial installations where scalability, EU market certification, and specific warranty conditions matter.

Pros and cons
According to the official datasheet (AM2, July 2023), the European efficiency is approximately 97.0%, with a peak of around 97.6%. This is a competitive level compared to Sungrow SH-RT (approximately 97.3%) and Fronius Symo GEN24 (approximately 97.0%), which translates to a realistically higher annual yield under variable solar irradiation conditions typical for Poland.
The input voltage range of 150-850 V DC and at least 2 independent MPPTs (models 5-25 kW) or up to 4 MPPTs (models 30-50 kW) allow for the design of installations on roofs with various orientations and inclines, without significant performance losses due to partial shading. MPPT efficiency, according to the datasheet, is ≥99.9%.
The series supports the operation of up to 10 devices in a master-slave topology, both on-grid and off-grid. This allows for the creation of C&I installations ranging from 5 kW to approximately 500 kW with a unified ecosystem, without the need for an additional system controller, which reduces project complexity.
The series complies with CE, TÜV, EN 50549 conformity declaration, NC RfG requirements, and VDE-AR-N 4105, IEC 62116, and IEC 61727. This means that it avoids potential issues with obtaining grid connection permits from Polish grid operators and notification to the network operator, which can be a significant obstacle for less scrupulous manufacturers.
Deye offers a 5-year manufacturer's warranty in Europe, with the option to extend it to 10 years through the distributor. Furthermore, in 2024, Deye was included in the Tier 1 Cleantech Companies list by S&P Global Commodity Insights, which confirms the bankability required by investors financing PV projects.
The SolarmanPV (SOLARMAN Smart) platform is a Chinese cloud infrastructure. For commercial and industrial installations covered by GDPR or internal IT requirements, this can pose a challenge - data traffic passes through servers outside of the EU, and the options for data export and integration with local SCADA systems are limited compared to solutions offered by SMA (Sunny Portal in the EU) or Fronius (Solar.web, with the option for a local instance).
