LFP Chemistry — Inherently Safe
Lithium Iron Phosphate cells have a stable crystal structure that does not release oxygen when overheated, greatly reducing the risk of thermal runaway compared to NMC or NCA batteries.
Modular and Scalable
Stack up to four IQ Battery 5P units per phase for up to 20.48 kWh of usable storage. Units self-configure; no additional wiring between units.
AC-Coupled Architecture
The integrated microinverter means the IQ Battery 5P connects directly to your AC panel — no separate battery inverter required. Works with existing Enphase microinverter systems.
Outdoor-Rated (IP55)
Designed for outdoor wall mounting. IP55 protects against dust and water jets. Operating temperature range of -20°C to 60°C suits most global climates.
Inverter Compatibility Requirement
The Enphase IQ Battery 5P is exclusively compatible with Enphase IQ series microinverters. It cannot be paired with string inverters from SolarEdge, Fronius, SMA, or other manufacturers without significant additional equipment. If your system uses a string inverter, consider the SolarEdge Home Battery or a brand-agnostic solution instead.
