The VSUN N-120MH-BB photovoltaic module series represents a breakthrough in efficiency thanks to the use of advanced N-type cells in TOPCon technology. This solution almost completely eliminates the problem of light-induced degradation (LID) and potential-induced degradation (PID), which translates into a significantly longer lifespan and stability of energy yields in the long-term perspective. These panels stand out for their exceptional operational efficiency even in low-light conditions, which is key to optimizing the return on investment in the Polish climate. The design based on 120 half-cut cells effectively minimizes energy losses resulting from internal resistance and limits the negative impact of partial shading on the operation of the entire system. Thanks to the use of bifacial energy generation, these modules can obtain additional power from radiation reflected from the ground, making them an ideal choice for modern home micro-installations and solar farms. The robust frame provides high resistance to extreme mechanical loads, such as heavy snow or strong winds, guaranteeing full technical safety. By choosing the VSUN N-120MH-BB, investors receive an exceptionally favorable temperature coefficient, which allows for maintaining a stable power output even during hot summer days, clearly distinguishing this series from older P-type solutions available on the market.

Common questions

6 answered
How does TOPCon cell technology in the VSUN N-120MH-BB differ from older PERC cells?
The N-type TOPCon cells used in the VSUN N-120MH-BB feature an additional tunnel oxide layer that reduces recombination losses as well as LID and PID degradation, common issues in older P-type PERC panels. This lets the module reach efficiency up to about 21.7% and deliver a more stable energy yield over the long term, resulting in higher total energy output from the system.
What is the maximum power output and efficiency of the VSUN N-120MH-BB panels?
The VSUN N-120MH-BB series reaches a maximum power of up to 470 Wp with module efficiency of around 21.7%. This is thanks to 120 N-type half-cut cells, which reduce resistive losses and improve panel performance under partial shading, such as from chimneys or roof antennas, by letting cell segments operate independently.
Are the VSUN N-120MH-BB panels bifacial, generating power from the rear side too?
No, the N-120MH-BB version is a monofacial module with a white backsheet, designed for standard roof-mounted installations. VSUN also offers a dual-glass variant in the same family, the BMH-DG-BB, which is bifacial and better suited to ground-mount setups or light-colored surfaces where reflected light can be captured.
What warranty comes with the VSUN N-120MH-BB panels?
The manufacturer provides a 25-year product warranty and a 30-year power output warranty, standard for modern N-type modules. This means that even after 30 years of operation the panel should retain a significant share of its rated initial power output, making the series a solid investment despite being discontinued.
Do the VSUN N-120MH-BB panels perform well in high summer temperatures?
Yes, with a power temperature coefficient of -0.3%/°C, the module loses less output as temperature rises compared to older P-type panels, which typically sit around -0.35 to -0.40%/°C. In practice, this means more stable energy production on hot summer days, which matters when designing systems for Poland's summer climate.
Is the VSUN N-120MH-BB series still available for purchase?
The N-120MH-BB series has been discontinued by VSUN and replaced by newer models. Availability is now limited to remaining distributor stock. Before buying panels for a larger installation, it's worth confirming current stock with your supplier, as matching panels from the same production batch may not be available for future additions.
