Middle of its segment, modest efficiency
The Techwise Solar Sun-Pursuit (TW-460HT) series are monocrystalline modules based on a half-cut architecture, designed to maintain stable performance even when part of the panel is intermittently shaded or dirty. The use of a multi-busbar connection structure minimizes losses due to microcracks and improves current collection from the cells, resulting in more predictable performance in real-world conditions.
In practice, the TW-460HT solves common rooftop installation problems: fluctuations in production due to uneven sunlight, power drops after heating, and the risk of gradual performance degradation over time. This is facilitated by low degradation over the lifespan and a refined laminate structure, which is particularly important for intensive use.
It is a good choice for single-family homes, small and medium-sized businesses, and farms, where high surface efficiency and easier compatibility with standard inverters and string configurations are important. It stands out from the competition due to its combination of mature cell technology with a focus on reliability in everyday operation.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Residential, commercial and shaded-installations.
Tight roof space, roofs where every square metre has to count and weight-limited structures.
Bottom 5% of the PERC 450-500 W segment, against a median of 20.82%. Ranked 11,956th in the whole database.
Bottom 10% of the PERC 450-500 W segment, against a median of 208.5.
Bottom 14% of the PERC 450-500 W segment, against a median of 53.1.
- Module efficiency of 20.2% is 0.6pp below average for PERC 450-500W panels (median: 20.8%)
- Power density of 203.7 W/m² is 4.8 W/m² below PERC 450-500W median (208.5 W/m²) - needs more roof space
- Temperature coefficient of -0.35%/°C matches the PERC 450-500W median
- At 26.5 kg, this panel is 2.0 kg heavier than the PERC 450-500W median (24.5 kg) - more demanding for installation crews
- #11956 for efficiency, #10419 for temperature performance out of 14005 panels
