Strong in heat, no clear weak spot
The Sunova TS-BW54 (X Version) series are modules designed to maximize energy production from the same roof area - thanks to its bifacial design, it also effectively utilizes light reflected from the ground. This solution is particularly effective on bright roofs, roofs with membranes, and surfaces with high albedo, where the gain from the rear side is most noticeable.
The X version has been designed for stable operation in demanding conditions - the module features dual-glass, which better protects against moisture and accelerated material degradation than typical constructions with film. The use of PERC technology and half-cut cells reduces losses and improves the performance of the panels in partial shade, which is often crucial on roofs with dormers, chimneys, or antennas.
It is a good choice for home and commercial installations, where predictability of yields and longer warranty protection are important, without paying extra for "paper" parameters.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Residential, commercial and shaded-installations.
Top 10% of the PERC 400-450 W segment, against a median of -0.350.
- At 20.5% efficiency, this panel is on par with typical PERC 400-450W modules
- At 204.8 W/m² power density, roof space requirements are typical for PERC 400-450W panels
- Temperature coefficient of -0.33%/°C matches the PERC 400-450W median
- 70% bifaciality enables rear-side power generation, boosting yield by 4-10% on reflective surfaces
- In the top 82% for efficiency among all PERC panels
