Warranty pick, heavy for its output
The Sun Earth DXM8-54HBG series are photovoltaic panels based on the latest N-type TOPCon technology, which provides noticeably better performance compared to traditional PERC cells. The double-sided bifacial design allows for the absorption of radiation from both the front and the back of the module - which translates into a real increase in energy yield, especially when installed above light surfaces or in ground-mounted systems. The glass-glass (glass-glass) construction, instead of the traditional backsheet, extends the lifespan of the panel and increases its resistance to moisture and UV radiation, which is crucial in the Polish climate with large temperature fluctuations. The series also features excellent temperature coefficients - power losses at high temperatures are significantly lower than in older technologies, which is particularly important during the summer months. The full black version, with a black frame and black glass, is ideal for rooftop installations, where aesthetics are important - on residential roofs, office buildings, and carport canopies. This solution is suitable for both consumers seeking high quality at a reasonable price, and professional installers implementing larger commercial projects.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Residential, commercial and hot-climate.
Weight-limited structures.
Top 1% of the TOPCon 400-450 W segment, against a median of 30 yrs. Ranked 1st in the whole database.
Top 17% of the TOPCon 400-450 W segment, against a median of 22.00%.
Top 17% of the TOPCon 400-450 W segment, against a median of 220.2.
Bottom 20% of the TOPCon 400-450 W segment, against a median of 51.5.
- At 22.3% efficiency, this panel is on par with typical TOPCon 400-450W modules
- Power density of 222.8 W/m² matches the TOPCon 400-450W median
- At -0.29%/°C, hot weather performance is typical for TOPCon 400-450W panels
- At 24.5 kg, this panel is 2.5 kg heavier than the TOPCon 400-450W median (22.0 kg) - more demanding for installation crews
- Bifaciality factor of 80% can add 4-12% extra yield with reflective mounting surface

Datasheet charts
Measured curves published by Sun Earth in this model's datasheet. A chart carrying a wattage was measured on that variant alone - only the ones that describe 435 Wp appear here. The rest cover the whole series.
Simulations
Degradation from this panel's own datasheet figures. No inverter, soiling or shading losses.
Model: bifaciality × albedo × 0.6 view factor. A first-order estimate, not a yield simulation.
