Strong in heat, no clear weak spot
Bruk-Bet PEM.BB-405 Half-Cell photovoltaic panels are an advanced solution based on half-cell technology, which effectively minimizes energy losses resulting from partial shading and internal resistance. Thanks to the precise division of the module into two independent sections, the system generates stable yields even in difficult weather conditions, making it significantly more efficient than traditional designs. This series stands out on the market due to a rigorous quality process, including triple electroluminescence testing, which ensures the absence of structural defects and micro-cracks affecting cell longevity. The modules solve the problem of power degradation over time thanks to high resistance to the PID effect and the LID phenomenon, providing investors with financial security for decades. The frame design has been optimized for exceptional mechanical strength, allowing for installation in regions with heavy snowfall and strong wind gusts. This is a product dedicated to single-family home owners and enterprises that prioritize uncompromising Polish quality and want to avoid risks associated with imported components of uncertain origin. By choosing the PEM.BB-405 series, the user receives a product fully adapted to European standards, combining high efficiency with an aesthetic finish.

The Tarnów facility (commissioned 2011, operated by a company with 40 years of construction industry experience) enables warranty claims and module replacements to be handled directly with the domestic manufacturer — no import intermediary involved. A nationwide network of authorized partners translates into materially faster service response times compared to Asian-based manufacturers.
Bruk-Bet is among a small number of manufacturers worldwide to perform EL inspection at three discrete stages: individual cell, half-module, and finished module. The industry standard is a single end-of-line test, making this series' QC procedure significantly more effective at detecting microcracks that would otherwise go undetected during a one-time inspection.
The workmanship warranty covers manufacturing defects for 20 years when installed by an authorized partner, compared to the industry standard of 10–12 years applied by most Tier-1 manufacturers (VSUN offers 12 years; Goldi Solar's standard term is 10 years). The 25-year power output warranty is in line with the premium market benchmark.
The series is rated for resistance to both Potential Induced Degradation (PID) and Light Induced Degradation (LID), which — combined with PERC technology — limits first-year power degradation to below 2%. This is particularly relevant in systems operating at high DC voltages (1,000–1,500 V DC).
P-type PERC cells are approaching their theoretical efficiency ceiling (~24.5%) and are losing market share: TOPCon already accounts for ~50% of global module production and is forecast to reach 60% by 2030, with PERC projected at a -10.8% CAGR from 2025 to 2030. N-type TOPCon modules from competing products in the same price segment are estimated to deliver approximately 1.5–2.5% more energy per year under identical conditions.
The 20.51% module efficiency is lower than all three comparable 405 W models: Goldi Solar GS10-M108-BF (20.66%), EGing STAR SERIES (20.74%), and VSUN405-108BMH-DG (20.74%). The 0.23 percentage-point gap versus the most efficient alternatives effectively requires greater roof area to achieve the same system peak power output.
The module is monofacial (is_bifacial: false), whereas the directly comparable VSUN405-108BMH-DG — in the same power class and price range — is a bifacial panel. Under typical ground-mount or light-colored rooftop installation conditions, bifacial gain from the rear side amounts to +5–15% additional energy yield, making the PEM.BB-405 less competitive for commercial and utility-scale applications.
- At 20.5% efficiency, this panel is on par with typical PERC 400-450W modules
- At 205.1 W/m² power density, roof space requirements are typical for PERC 400-450W panels
- -0.32%/°C temperature coefficient (median: -0.35%/°C) - retains ~1% more power at high temperatures
- Ranked #11268 out of 14005 panels for efficiency in the database
