Space saver, heavy for its output
The AE Solar Alpine series consists of advanced photovoltaic modules utilizing innovative shingled cell technology, which eliminates traditional busbars in favor of overlapping cells. This design solution significantly increases the active sunlight absorption area and effectively reduces energy losses resulting from internal resistance. Thanks to the use of gallium-doped silicon, these modules feature exceptional resistance to LID degradation and micro-cracks, which translates into trouble-free system operation for many years. Precisely cut cells connected with specialized conductive adhesive ensure that the Alpine series handles the problem of partial shading excellently, minimizing yield drops in difficult installation locations. It is an ideal choice for investors seeking maximum power density with limited available roof space. These products distinguish themselves from the competition with their elegant design and significantly better performance in high ambient temperatures. Excellent performance in low-light conditions guarantees a faster return on investment in the Polish climate. By choosing the Alpine series, you opt for a technological advantage and energy security. These modules are a combination of aesthetics and the highest technical parameters, making them one of the most desirable solutions in the premium segment. The use of large-format cells allows for the generation of more electricity from every square meter of the installation.

Residential, commercial, shaded-installations, cold-climate and hot-climate.
Weight-limited structures.
Top 12% of the TOPCon 400-450 W segment, against a median of 220.2.
Top 22% of the TOPCon 400-450 W segment, against a median of 22.00%.
Bottom 4% of the TOPCon 400-450 W segment, against a median of 51.5. Ranked 13,355th in the whole database.
The combination of N-type TOPCon cells with a back-contact grid eliminates current-collecting grids, increasing the active absorption area and reducing resistive losses. The addition of gallium reduces LID degradation to below 1% in the first year, which translates to a significantly higher yield throughout the entire lifespan of the installation compared to PERC technology.
The manufacturer offers both a 30-year product warranty and a linear power warranty, ensuring a minimum of 87.4% of the nominal output after 30 years - while the industry standard for most competitors is a 12-15 year product warranty and a 25-year power warranty.
Alpine modules have passed testing by the Swiss VKF institute to the HW4 class: hail of 40 mm at 27.54 m/s (16 impact points, energy >11.1 J), which significantly exceeds the requirements of the IEC standard (hail of 25 mm, 23 m/s). This is a significant advantage in Poland, where the frequency of hailstorms is increasing.
AE Solar (headquartered in Germany, founded in 2003) ranked 18th out of 67 evaluated manufacturers in the BNEF PV Module Bankability 2024 report, as the only European company with a 50% bankability rating (up from 26% in 2023). This strengthens the financial security and availability of guarantees for projects within the EU.
The bifacial design allows for the recovery of 5-20% additional energy from reflection off the ground (albedo), depending on the mounting conditions. The temperature coefficient of -0.29%/°C places the module above the typical PERC standard (-0.34%/°C), which means realistically lower losses in the summer when the module is heated to 65-75°C.
The maximum efficiency of the Alpine model is 22.54%, while the SunKean/Sunket SKT430-450M10-108D5 model achieves 23.04% - a difference of 0.5% translates to approximately 2.2% less power from the same roof area. In situations with limited space, this difference can represent a significant reduction in the total power output of the system.
- Efficiency of 22.3% matches the TOPCon 400-450W median
- At 222.9 W/m² power density, roof space requirements are typical for TOPCon 400-450W panels
- Temperature coefficient of -0.29%/°C matches the TOPCon 400-450W median
- At 30.0 kg, this panel is 8.0 kg heavier than the TOPCon 400-450W median (22.0 kg) - more demanding for installation crews
- 80% bifaciality enables rear-side power generation, boosting yield by 4-12% on reflective surfaces
