GoodWe GT G2 series are three-phase string-type grid-tie inverters designed for commercial and industrial installations, where high performance and stable operation under challenging conditions are key. The application of multi-point MPP tracking brings tangible benefits to expanded module fields - it simplifies designing chains with different orientations and minimizes losses when parts of the roof are intermittently shaded. Multi-channel MPPT operation translates to better production optimization throughout the day, while high European efficiency helps maintain good performance under typical operating conditions in Poland, not just in ideal laboratory settings. In practice, GT G2 also supports modern modules with high input currents. For safety, features such as surge protection and solutions enhancing reliability in C&I environments are crucial. Monitoring via the SEMS platform and communication integration facilitate service supervision and diagnostics. This is the choice for companies seeking quiet, robust construction and predictable operation.

Pros and cons
The GT series achieves a maximum efficiency of 99.0% (according to the official GT 100-125 kW datasheet) and supports DC oversizing of 150% and AC overloading of 110%, which translates into a significantly higher annual yield in typical commercial installation conditions in Poland.
The 100-125 kW variants are equipped with 8 or 10 MPPT trackers, with an input current of up to 21 A/string, which allows for the integration of modern >700 Wp bifacial modules and minimizes losses due to varying orientations and partial shading.
The IP66 protection rating (higher than the standard IP65 found in many competitors in the C&I segment) ensures complete protection against the ingress of dust and water during outdoor installations, and the derating temperature is not activated until the ambient temperature reaches 45°C.
GoodWe has maintained its Tier 1 BloombergNEF status since at least Q2 2025, confirmed in Q1 2026. This status is required by most banks that finance renewable energy projects on a non-recourse debt basis, which facilitates the acquisition of financing for C&I projects.
Starting in January 2026, SEMS+ - the next generation of the monitoring platform - will be available. It features a 24/7 AI Agent (diagnostics through natural language queries) and a One-Click Checkup function specifically for PV (photovoltaic) systems. Support for Modbus-TCP, IEC104, and IEEE 2030.50 protocols allows for integration with SCADA/BMS systems in industrial facilities.
