Middle of its segment, weak in heat
The Waaree EDO PRO SERIES is designed for installations where predictable module performance over years and stable yields in variable weather conditions are crucial. Panels feature glass with an antireflection coating, which enhances light transmission and helps maintain production even with diffuse radiation. In practice, this means less fluctuation in yields on cloudy days and better utilization of morning and afternoon sunlight.
A key advantage of the series is PID resistance and the use of durable, UV-resistant encapsulation, which minimizes the risk of power degradation over the long term and increases investment security. Additionally, the modules are current-matched, making it easier to build strings with balanced parameters and reduce losses due to mismatching.
EDO PRO SERIES is suitable for rooftop and ground installations for homes, businesses, and PV farms - especially where resilience to harsh conditions is important, such as salt mist, dust, or hail.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Residential and commercial.
Hot climates, tight roof space and roofs where every square metre has to count.
Bottom 6% of the 245-445 W band, against a median of -0.340. Ranked 13,485th in the whole database.
Bottom 9% of the 245-445 W band, against a median of 20.67%. Ranked 13,382nd in the whole database.
Bottom 9% of the 245-445 W band, against a median of 206.3. Ranked 13,370th in the whole database.
- Module efficiency of 17.3% is 4.5pp below average for database panels (median: 21.8%)
- 173.3 W/m² power density is 44.8 W/m² below database median (218.1 W/m²) - requires larger installation area
- -0.39%/°C temperature coefficient - 0.09pp worse than database median (-0.30%/°C), expect higher hot weather losses
- Weight of 21.5 kg (5.0 kg below database median of 26.5 kg) allows easier transport and roof mounting
- #13382 for efficiency, #13485 for temperature performance out of 14005 panels
