Strong in heat, no clear weak spot
The Heliene 108HC M10 SL All Black series consists of monocrystalline modules with a 108 half-cut cells arrangement, designed to effectively minimize losses within the module and operate more reliably under partial shading. The use of M10 PERC technology cells supports high efficiency and predictable energy production in typical Polish installation conditions. A key feature is the split junction box, which helps to better distribute current within the panel and reduce losses compared to traditional solutions.
In practice, this series addresses two common problems faced by investors: reduced energy yield under suboptimal conditions and mechanical requirements for roofs and wind/snow zones. The modules feature solar glass with an anti-reflective coating, which supports operation over a wider range of light incidence angles throughout the day. This is a good choice for residential and commercial installations where aesthetics and PID resistance, as well as long-term parameter stability, are important.

Top 15% of the PERC 350-400 W segment, against a median of -0.350.
Heliene earned Top Performer status in the 9th edition of the Kiwa PVEL PV Module Reliability Scorecard (2024) – an independent benchmark widely recognized as the most authoritative indicator of PV module durability. This is an objective validation of manufacturing quality, not a marketing claim.
This series outperforms its direct competitor, the DMEGC GH400M10T-B48HST at the same 400 Wp rating, which achieves only 15.48% efficiency – a ~5 percentage-point gap that translates to a meaningfully smaller installation footprint for the same energy yield. The series matches the Solaria PowerXT (20.2%) at a likely lower cost.
The 108 half-cut cell layout halves the operating current in each string, reducing I²R resistive losses. The split junction box further shortens internal current paths, minimizing CTM losses and improving performance under partial shading conditions.
Factories in Minnesota (USA) and Ontario (Canada) eliminate the risks of extended lead times, import tariffs, and logistical challenges typical of Asian-sourced modules. The series qualifies for programs supporting domestic content requirements in projects covered by the IRA (Inflation Reduction Act).
The manufacturer offers a 25-year warranty covering both the product and power output, guaranteeing no less than 86% of nominal power after 25 years. This is on par with segment leaders and meaningfully better than the typical 10/25-year warranties offered by many Tier-2 Asian manufacturers.
Since 2022, Heliene has offered a newer 108HC M10 NTYP SL series (TOPCon / N-type) rated at 415–440 Wp with higher efficiency. PERC technology exhibits higher LID (Light-Induced Degradation) rates and a worse temperature coefficient than N-type TOPCon, which over a 25-year horizon translates to meaningfully lower cumulative energy yield. Buyers commissioning a new system in 2026 may want to consider the TOPCon series as the same brand in a newer generation.
