Strong in heat, no clear weak spot
The Heckert Solar NEMO® 3.0 120 M BLACK FRAME series is designed for high performance in real-world conditions, even when the roof is partially shaded or sunlight is variable. The use of half-cut construction minimizes losses in the module and helps to produce more energy at lower light levels. This solution will appeal to investors who want to "get the most" out of every square meter of roof space.
The modules utilize monocrystalline PERC technology, and a multi-busbar architecture improves the performance and resistance to micro-cracks of the cells, which translates into predictable production over the long term. Another key feature is the black frame - an aesthetically pleasing and popular choice for modern roofs and premium installations.
In practice, this series is ideal for single-family homes, small businesses, and projects where a balance between appearance, durability, and reliable performance is important. Furthermore, the modules are designed for modern integration thanks to MC4 compatible connectors that are compatible with optimizers.

Modules are produced at two German plants — Chemnitz and Langenwetzendorf (up to 400 MWp/year capacity). Every panel is certified by TÜV Rheinland (IEC 61215, IEC 61730, IEC 61701), VDE, DLG ammonia-resistance test, and salt-spray corrosion test — delivering consistent build quality and long-term serviceability not available from most Asian competitors.
Heckert guarantees no negative power tolerance — every module delivers at least its rated 375 or 380 Wp. This is material for yield calculations in net-metering and PPA-based projects where any downward deviation translates directly into financial loss.
Splitting each cell into two halves reduces resistive (I²R) losses by approximately 50% per section, while the 9-busbar layout shortens current paths and improves microcrack resistance. The result is more stable energy production under partial shading and variable irradiance — conditions typical of Central European residential rooftops.
The series holds TÜV Rheinland certifications (IEC 61215, IEC 61730, IEC 61701 — salt-fog resistance), DLG ammonia-resistance approval (relevant for agricultural installations), and MCS certification (UK market requirement). This is one of the most thoroughly certified product lines in the 375–380 Wp class among European manufacturers.
Founded in 1992, Heckert Solar is one of the few European PV manufacturers with an uninterrupted own-production track record spanning over three decades. The company's operational stability and established service portfolio reduce counterparty risk for investors with 20–25 year investment horizons.
At the same peak power of 380 Wp, this series achieves 19.8–20% module efficiency versus VDS-S120/M6H at 20.8% and Gamko GKA166M120 at 20.85%. This translates to approximately 4–5% more roof area required for the same installed capacity — a meaningful constraint on space-limited residential rooftops.
PERC cells exhibit higher Light-Induced Degradation (LID) and a less favorable temperature coefficient compared to N-type technologies (TOPCon, HJT) that are becoming the 2024–2026 market standard. Notably, Heckert itself has transitioned to TOPCon in the newer APOLLON 2.0 series, signaling the accelerating platform obsolescence of PERC-based NeMo 3.0 modules.
Leading manufacturers (LONGi, Jinko, Trina) now routinely provide 25-year product warranties. Heckert's 15-year product warranty, paired with a 25-year power guarantee (≥80% after 25 years), creates a 10-year gap during which manufacturing defects are not covered — a risk factor for installations financed with loans matching the full power-warranty period.
- At 19.8% efficiency, this panel is on par with typical PERC 0-400W modules
- Power density of 197.6 W/m² packs 3.2 W/m² more into the same footprint vs PERC 0-400W median (194.4 W/m²)
- Temperature coefficient of -0.34%/°C matches the PERC 0-400W median
