Efficiency leader, no clear weak spot
The Hanersun Hitouch 5 HN18-60H (440-460 W) series is designed for maximum power generation per square meter - without complicated installation designs. The modules utilize mono PERC cells in a 182 mm format and a refined connection architecture, allowing them to perform well in real-world conditions, even with occasional shading or dirt accumulation. The use of half-cut construction minimizes losses and helps maintain stable energy production, while multi-busbar technology improves current collection and reduces the risk of performance degradation over time. A key feature of this series is high-density encapsulation with minimal spacing between cells, which translates to better utilization of the active surface area and an aesthetically pleasing, organized appearance. This makes it a suitable choice for residential homes, commercial rooftops, and installations where compatibility with popular inverters and easy installation are important, while also requiring predictable performance over many years.

Residential, commercial and shaded-installations.
Top 15% of the PERC 450-500 W segment, against a median of 20.82%.
Top 16% of the PERC 450-500 W segment, against a median of 208.5.
Splitting each cell in half reduces operating current by 50%, lowering resistive losses and improving tolerance to partial shading. Multi-busbar technology shortens current-collection paths and reduces the risk of microcracks over the long-term service life of the module.
Minimal inter-cell gaps increase the active area of the module compared to older formats with wider spacing, delivering higher energy yield per unit roof area for an identical module footprint.
The manufacturer guarantees a 25-year linear power output warranty — the segment standard — providing predictable energy yield throughout the entire designed service life of a residential prosumer system.
The 182 mm (M10) cell format and 440–460 Wp power range align with market mainstream, ensuring full compatibility with leading inverter brands (Fronius, SMA, Huawei, Solis) without any non-standard MPPT configuration.
Production ended in 2023 — availability is limited exclusively to distributor stock. Expanding an existing installation with identical modules over the coming years will be difficult or impossible, complicating string matching.
The maximum module efficiency of this series is 21.24%, while direct alternatives in the same power class reach 23.00% (Risen RSM96-11-440-460BNDG) and 23.02% (SunKean SKT440~460M12-96D4). The ~1.8 percentage-point gap translates into measurably lower energy yield from the same roof area.
Mono PERC cells carry a typical Pmax temperature coefficient of -0.35%/°C, compared to -0.28%/°C for the N-type TOPCon used by newer competing products. At a module temperature of ~70°C — a typical summer peak in Poland — this difference results in an additional 2–3% power loss.
Hanersun received BNEF Tier-1 classification in Q2 2023 exclusively for its 600 W+ TOPCon products. The Hitouch 5 HN18-60H series, as a PERC product manufactured between 2021 and 2023, was not covered by that designation, which may present a barrier for installations financed by banks or funds requiring a bankable manufacturer.
- Efficiency of 21.2% matches the PERC 450-500W median
- Power density of 212.4 W/m² packs 3.9 W/m² more into the same footprint vs PERC 450-500W median (208.5 W/m²)
- At -0.35%/°C, hot weather performance is typical for PERC 450-500W panels
- In the top 65% for efficiency among all PERC panels
