Space saver, no clear weak spot
The DAH Solar DHT-M60X10/FS Full Screen series is distinguished by its patented global technology for a frameless front, which eliminates one of the biggest problems with solar panel installations - the accumulation of water and dust at the bottom edge of the panel. This allows rainwater to naturally clean the module surface, which, according to TUV Nord field tests, resulted in a 6-15% increase in energy yield compared to standard modules. The heart of the panel is half-cut PERC monocrystalline solar cells arranged in a 120-cell configuration with 10 collective busbars, which reduces resistive losses and improves performance in partially shaded conditions. The design features exceptionally high mechanical strength - it can withstand snow loads of up to 5400 Pa, making it ideal for the Polish climate. An IP68 degree of protection guarantees complete sealing even in harsh weather conditions. The panel is available in a black frame version, making it ideal for rooftop installations on residential and commercial buildings, where aesthetics play a significant role. This is a solution for investors seeking higher annual yields without compromising on durability.
Ranking
Signals from the data
Residential, commercial and shaded-installations.
Top 9% of the PERC 450-500 W segment, against a median of 208.5. Ranked 8,451st in the whole database.
Top 10% of the PERC 450-500 W segment, against a median of 20.82%.
A TÜV Nord field study on a 5° installation (typical pitch for flat roofs and trapezoidal metal sheeting) recorded output rising from 65.06 to 73.21 kWh per module compared to the standard DHT-M60X10 without FS technology. The result of 161.17 kWh/kW vs. 144.54 kWh/kW confirms a real-world advantage of the frameless front design under soiling conditions.
A snow load rating of 5,400 Pa places the series in the upper tier of the mechanical class for 60-cell PERC modules, well above the market standard of 2,400–4,000 Pa. This directly translates to reliable performance in climates with wet, heavy snow without the need for additional reinforcing substructures.
An IP68 ingress protection rating (full submersion sealing) exceeds the IP65 requirement typical for rooftop installations, reducing the risk of moisture-induced degradation in the junction box. The 25-year linear power warranty is the Tier-1 industry standard; DAH Solar has maintained its BNEF Tier 1 listing continuously from at least Q1 2025 through Q4 2025.
The frameless-front technology is protected by patents in 18 jurisdictions, underscoring the originality of the solution and differentiating the series from all-black modules that rely solely on black laminate. The rain self-cleaning effect eliminates the primary cause of yield degradation in low-tilt installations.
The 10-busbar (10BB) design combined with half-cut cells reduces operating current by approximately 50%, lowering resistive I²R losses and improving tolerance to partial shading — particularly relevant for rooftop installations with chimneys or dormers.
The DHT-M60X10/FS is designated as discontinued. This means replacement modules will be unavailable in the event of physical damage after several years of operation, complicating system expansion with identical modules and potentially requiring a costly full-string replacement.
The series peaks at 21.3% efficiency, while comparably rated modules such as the Risen RSM96-11-440-460BNDG and SunKean SKT440~460M12-96D4 achieve 23.0–23.02% — an advantage of approximately 1.7 percentage points (roughly 8% in relative terms). The gap stems from the use of legacy PERC cell technology rather than TOPCon, resulting in measurably lower yield per m² at equivalent module area.
The series is monofacial (is_bifacial: false), precluding any additional energy yield from ground-reflected albedo. On installations over bright surfaces (gravel, snow, white membrane), modern bifacial modules can generate 5–15% more energy annually with no additional roof area required.
- At 21.3% efficiency, this panel is on par with typical PERC 450-500W modules
- Power density of 213.2 W/m² packs 4.7 W/m² more into the same footprint vs PERC 450-500W median (208.5 W/m²)
- At -0.35%/°C, hot weather performance is typical for PERC 450-500W panels
- At 23.5 kg, weight matches the PERC 450-500W median
- In the top 61% for efficiency among all PERC panels
