Solid all-round for its segment
The DAH DHN-60X16/DG 475-490W series has been designed to maximize energy yield on rooftops or on the ground, where every square meter counts. A key advantage is the combination of n-type TOPCon cells with a double glass construction, which translates into improved operational stability and higher resistance to typical installation issues. The modules stand out due to lower degradation and strong protection against PID (Potential Induced Degradation), making it easier to maintain high energy production for subsequent seasons. In addition, their good performance at high temperatures and effective use of diffuse light are beneficial in Polish weather conditions, where cloudy skies are common. This makes them a reasonable choice for installers and investors seeking panels for residential homes, businesses, and modern prosumer projects, where predictability, durability, and cost-effectiveness are key considerations, without incurring additional marketing expenses.

Residential, commercial and hot-climate.
N-type TOPCon cells lose significantly less power as temperature rises compared to typical PERC modules (-0.35 to -0.40%/°C). The 0.06–0.11 pp/°C difference translates into measurably higher energy yield on hot, sunny days when module temperature exceeds 50–60°C.
DAH guarantees at least 87.4% of nominal power output after 30 years of operation, with annual degradation ≤0.4% from year 2 onward (year 1 ≤1%). Most comparable Tier-1 models cap their warranty at 25 years; the extended warranty horizon improves the financial performance of both residential prosumer and commercial projects.
The module's rear surface generates additional yield from reflected irradiance (albedo), particularly valuable in ground-mounted installations and on high-reflectivity surfaces. The double-glass design eliminates the rear backsheet, improving resistance to moisture, ammonia, and mechanical loads compared to standard monofacial modules.
DAH Solar has continuously appeared on the BNEF Tier 1 list at least since Q1 2025 (confirmed Q1 and Q3 2025). This status is required by the majority of banks and leasing companies when financing PV installations, and is absent from several competitors in this price segment.
The maximum efficiency of 22.71% matches the segment leader among directly comparable models (Renesola RS4-490NX-E1: 22.71%) and exceeds the Horay Solar HS 182-120 TC (22.6%). This allows the same installed capacity to be achieved on a smaller roof area.
The double-glass construction raises module weight to approximately 26 kg, compared to ~21–22 kg for typical monofacial modules of equivalent power. On steep-pitch roofs and older mounting structures, a structural load assessment may be required, and single-person installation becomes more difficult.
- At 22.7% efficiency, this panel is on par with typical TOPCon 450-500W modules
- Power density of 227.1 W/m² matches the TOPCon 450-500W median
- Temperature coefficient of -0.29%/°C matches the TOPCon 450-500W median
- At 26.0 kg, this panel is 2.0 kg heavier than the TOPCon 450-500W median (24.0 kg) - more demanding for installation crews
- Bifacial design (80% factor) captures reflected light - adds 4-12% yield on ground-mount or white roof
