Middle of its segment, needs the roof space
The DAH DHN-60R20/DG(BB) series are modules designed for maximum yield, where both appearance and stable performance under varying conditions are crucial. The use of N-type TOPCon cells helps minimize losses at high temperatures and maintain good performance even under weaker sunlight - which, in the Polish climate, translates to more predictable annual energy production. The double-glass construction increases resistance to environmental factors, and in practice, makes it easier to select panels for installations exposed to humidity, fog, or air salinity. They are also bifacial modules, which can utilize reflected light from the ground, increasing yield without increasing the roof or ground area. The full black (BB) variant is well-suited for modern residential and commercial roofs, where a consistent aesthetic is important. The series is characterized by an approach of "more energy from the same surface area" - without compromising durability or architectural integration.

The Pmax temperature coefficient of -0.29%/°C places this series clearly above typical PERC modules (-0.35%/°C). In the Polish climate, where rooftops reach 60–70°C in summer, this difference translates into several additional kWh of annual yield for every installed kWp.
The dual-glass encapsulation eliminates the rear EVA backsheet — the weakest point for moisture and ammonia resistance — which is particularly relevant for agricultural installations and coastal climates. The bifacial design captures an additional 5–15% of energy from reflection off high-albedo surfaces (gravel, concrete, snow) without increasing the installation footprint.
The market standard in this segment is a 25-year power warranty. DAH guarantees ≥87.4% of nominal power after 30 years, which — given the increasingly long financing horizons for PV installations (20–25-year loans) — represents a tangible contractual advantage over comparable series such as Silfab Commercial NTC, which offers 25-year coverage.
DAH Solar has appeared on the BNEF Tier 1 list continuously from Q1 2025 through Q3 2025 (confirmed by manufacturer communications and the BNEF database). Tier 1 status is required by the majority of banks and investment funds for financing commercial projects in Poland and the EU — manufacturers without this status are effectively excluded from B2B tenders.
The DHN-60R20/DG(BB) series combines an all-black aesthetic (black backsheet and black frame) with double glass and bifacial technology — a rare combination, as most full-black modules on the market sacrifice either the rear glass or bifaciality. The power range of 495–520 Wp is identical to the standard version, with no efficiency trade-off.
The maximum module efficiency of this series is 23.0%, while direct peer comparables — HT-SAAE HT54-18X(N) achieves 23.8% and TCL Zhonghuan HSM-BD60-LA500~520 reaches 23.5%. The 0.8–0.9 percentage-point gap means that on the same roof area, those competing series will deliver meaningfully higher energy yield; this is most relevant for space-constrained installations.
- At 22.3% efficiency, this panel is on par with typical TOPCon 500-550W modules
- 223.3 W/m² power density is 4.1 W/m² below TOPCon 500-550W median (227.4 W/m²) - requires larger installation area
- At -0.29%/°C, hot weather performance is typical for TOPCon 500-550W panels
- Bifaciality factor of 80% can add 4-12% extra yield with reflective mounting surface
- #5054 for efficiency, #2165 for temperature performance out of 14005 panels
