Middle of its segment, needs the roof space
The DAH DHN-54Z20/DG solar panel series is revolutionizing the market thanks to the use of patented Full-Screen technology, which eliminates traditional frames protruding above the glass surface. This solution effectively solves the problem of dust, sediment, and water accumulation at the module edges, which in standard panels leads to the formation of hot-spots and efficiency drops. Thanks to the smooth surface, rainfall automatically removes contaminants, making this series an ideal choice for low-tilt installations where traditional cleaning is difficult. The use of advanced N-Type TOPCon cells guarantees excellent efficiency even in low-sunlight conditions and significantly lower linear degradation compared to older technologies. The Double Glass construction, meaning the use of dual glass, significantly increases mechanical resistance to extreme weather conditions and enhances the fire safety of the entire system. These products stand out from the competition with their excellent aesthetics and bifaciality, allowing for additional energy yield from reflected radiation. The DHN-54Z20/DG series is dedicated to demanding private investors and companies looking for maximum reliability and maintenance-free operation while maintaining the highest energy yields for decades. It is the optimal combination of technical innovation and practical benefit in the form of reduced servicing needs.

The absence of a frame protruding above the glass surface eliminates the accumulation of dust, deposits, and water at module edges — the primary cause of hot-spot formation in conventional panels. Rainwater naturally flushes away soiling, reducing yield losses especially in low-tilt installations (<15°). DAH Solar is one of the few manufacturers to have patented this solution, and it entered the Top 10 of the TOP SOLAR MODULES ranking in September 2025.
The Pmax temperature coefficient is -0.29%/°C, compared to a typical -0.35%/°C for PERC technology. Under Polish climatic conditions — where modules can reach 60°C in summer — this translates to approximately 1.7% higher energy yield relative to a same-rated PERC module. N-type technology also eliminates the LID (Light-Induced Degradation) effect, keeping first-year degradation below 1%.
The manufacturer guarantees >89.4% of rated power after 25 years and >87.4% after 30 years. In the 510W segment, competitor Trina Solar Vertex offers a standard 25-year warranty with a floor of 84.8%, making DAH's offer clearly more favorable over the financial horizon of a typical investment project (25–30 years).
The double-glass (Double Glass) construction improves the module's fire safety rating and mechanical resistance to snow and wind loads. Bifaciality (~80% per DAH serial data) delivers an additional 5–20% energy yield depending on ground albedo — a tangible bonus particularly for ground-mounted systems and installations on white roofing membranes.
DAH Solar has been continuously listed on the BNEF Tier 1 index since 2025 (confirmed in Q1 and Q3 2025), confirming full eligibility for project bank financing. This is critical for commercial projects and utility-scale renewable energy farms that require credit accreditation — manufacturers outside Tier 1 are automatically disqualified by many lending institutions.
The frameless Double Glass module, weighing 26.6 kg, requires dedicated clamp systems compatible with glass-glass construction — standard rails and clamps designed for framed modules are not suitable. Installers must plan for the added cost of a compatible racking system and account for the risk of errors during hardware selection.
Modules in the 480–490W range of this series achieve efficiencies of 21.57–22.05%, while the JA Solar JAM60S40 LR (up to 510W) claims 23% and the Sunlike SKT490~510M12-108D4 claims 22.93%. For rooftop installations where available area is constrained and maximum yield per m² is the priority, variants ≥500W within this series should be selected, or an alternative from JA Solar considered.
- Module efficiency of 21.6% is 0.9pp below average for TOPCon 450-500W panels (median: 22.5%)
- At 215.7 W/m², this panel generates 9.5 W/m² less per unit area than TOPCon 450-500W median (225.2 W/m²)
- Temperature coefficient of -0.29%/°C matches the TOPCon 450-500W median
- Weight of 26.6 kg is 2.6 kg above TOPCon 450-500W median (24.0 kg) - verify structural support
- Bifaciality factor of 80% can add 4-12% extra yield with reflective mounting surface
