Solid all-round for its segment
The DAH DHM-60X10/FS(BB) series was designed for stable energy production in environments where standard modules quickly lose efficiency due to dirt and standing water. A key feature is the full-screen design - without a traditional protruding frame, with a geometry that facilitates water and snow runoff, keeping the module cleaner for longer and reducing the need for maintenance. This is a significant advantage in installations with low roof pitches and in areas with high dust levels, where cleaning panels can be costly.
The all-black variant is ideal where a consistent aesthetic is important - on modern homes and premium buildings. The use of N-type TOPCon cells supports high efficiency in various conditions and improves resistance to typical power drop mechanisms over time. Furthermore, the half-cut and multi-busbar architecture improves the module's performance in partial shading and enhances its mechanical strength, differentiating this series from many traditional residential constructions.

The absence of a front aluminum frame rail eliminates the dirt accumulation and water pooling zone along the module's bottom edge. According to DAH Solar data, this translates to 6–15% higher energy yield in high-soiling environments or on low-tilt rooftops (<15°), where conventional framed modules require more frequent cleaning.
DAH Solar has maintained Tier 1 status on the BloombergNEF list continuously since at least Q1 2025 (confirmed by an official manufacturer statement). This ensures acceptance by financial institutions and secures investments requiring project financing or insurance.
The BB series features a uniformly black profile (cells, frame, and backsheet), eliminating the visual contrast of silver busbars and white backing visible in standard modules. A significant advantage for building-integrated installations with strict architectural requirements, where aesthetics influence heritage authority approval or developer standards.
Splitting cells in half reduces internal currents and limits the impact of partial shading — power losses affect only half the string, not the entire string. Multi-busbar technology (≥9 busbars) shortens the current path within the cell, reducing series resistance and improving mechanical resistance to microcracks.
The DHM-60X10/FS(BB) series has discontinued status. This limits the availability of replacement modules for future system expansion, complicates lot matching in large-scale projects, and increases the risk of inadequate service support over the 25-year power warranty horizon.
PERC exhibits annual degradation of 0.6–0.8% and is susceptible to Light-Induced Degradation (LID) caused by boron-oxygen defects. By comparison, N-type TOPCon modules degrade at 0.4–0.5%/year with no LID — over a 25-year horizon, the difference in retained output power can amount to 3–5 percentage points. In 2025–2026, TOPCon has become the market standard in this power class.
The maximum module efficiency of this series is 21.08%, while two of its three direct peer comparables — Sunlike Solar SKT455 and IBC Solar 445–455 LS-TA2 — achieve 22.8% at the same 455 Wp rating. This represents an approximately 8% relative advantage in power density, meaning the competition delivers meaningfully higher yield per m² from the same roof area.
- At 20.6% efficiency, this panel is on par with typical PERC 400-450W modules
- Power density of 206.2 W/m² matches the PERC 400-450W median
- At -0.35%/°C, hot weather performance is typical for PERC 400-450W panels
- At 23.8 kg (1.8 kg above PERC 400-450W median of 22.0 kg), requires checking roof load capacity
- In the top 79% for efficiency among all PERC panels
