## About this series

The SOLRIF N Terracotta Bronze series offers a unique solution that combines the aesthetics of traditional terracotta tiles with advanced N-type TOPCon bifacial solar cell technology. The modules are designed as an integrated roof system - replacing traditional roofing materials while creating a sleek, dark-brown surface and an efficient solar power plant. This is the ideal solution for buildings in conservation areas, historic city centers, and anywhere where the appearance of the roof is a key factor. The construction, based on dual 2+2 mm hardened TVG glass, provides exceptional mechanical strength - the modules meet Class A fire resistance requirements and can withstand extreme wind, snow, and hail loads. The SOLRIF N system frame, tested by Ernst Schweizer AG, ensures secure mounting directly on the roof. Thanks to the N-type TOPCon technology, power degradation is exceptionally low, resulting in a 30-year product and performance warranty while maintaining 90% of the initial power output. The modules have the prestigious Cradle to Cradle Gold certification - the only such result in the entire photovoltaic industry - and are manufactured exclusively using renewable energy, with 35% recycled glass content. Made in Europe.

## Notable figures

- At 27.0 kg, this panel is 3.5 kg heavier than the \*\*TOPCon 0-400W\*\* median (23.5 kg) - more demanding for installation crews
- #13252 for efficiency, #6152 for temperature performance out of 14129 panels

## Questions

### Are SOLRIF N Terracotta Bronze panels suitable for historic buildings and architectural conservation zones?

Yes, the SOLRIF N Terracotta Bronze series was designed specifically for buildings in conservation zones and historic city centers. Its dark bronze color and ceramic-tile-like texture allow the modules to blend seamlessly with historic architecture without violating heritage protection requirements. It is one of the few PV solutions on the market that combines N-type TOPCon cell efficiency with the aesthetic demands of architectural preservation authorities.

### What warranty does the SOLRIF N Terracotta Bronze series come with, and how much power will the panels retain after 30 years?

SoliTek backs the SOLRIF N Terracotta Bronze series with a 30-year product warranty and a 30-year power output warranty. After 30 years, the modules retain at least 90% of their initial rated power of 370 Wp. Such an extended warranty is made possible by N-type TOPCon technology, which exhibits significantly lower degradation rates compared to conventional PERC cells.

### Do SOLRIF N Terracotta Bronze panels replace traditional roof tiles, or are they mounted on top of an existing roof covering?

SOLRIF N Terracotta Bronze modules are a building-integrated PV (BIPV) roof system - they replace traditional roofing materials rather than being mounted on top of them. The SOLRIF N framing system, tested and certified by Swiss company Ernst Schweizer AG, attaches directly into the roof plane. No additional tiles or underlayment membrane are needed in the module zone, and the roof gains a uniform, elegant dark-bronze appearance.

### What is N-type TOPCon bifacial technology and how does it differ from standard PERC panels?

N-type TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) technology uses a passivated tunnel oxide contact layer that minimizes carrier recombination, resulting in higher efficiency and significantly lower degradation than conventional PERC cells. The bifacial design means the panel generates energy from both sides - reflected irradiance from the roof surface reaches the rear of the cell, boosting total energy yield without any additional installation cost.

### How resistant is the SOLRIF N Terracotta Bronze series to hail, wind loads, and snow loads?

The SOLRIF N Terracotta Bronze series is built on double TVG 2+2 mm tempered safety glass and meets Fire Class A requirements. The modules withstand extreme wind and snow loads as well as Class 3 hail resistance, equivalent to 35 mm hailstones impacting at 24.5 m/s. This is especially important for rooftop installations in harsh climates, where traditional ceramic roof tiles may crack under similar conditions.

### Does the SOLRIF N Terracotta Bronze series hold any environmental certifications, and where are the panels manufactured?

The SOLRIF N Terracotta Bronze series holds the Cradle to Cradle Gold certification - a unique achievement in the entire solar industry. The modules are manufactured exclusively using renewable energy, and 35% recycled glass is incorporated in their production. SoliTek is headquartered in Lithuania and manufactures its panels in Europe, reducing the carbon footprint of transportation and ensuring compliance with European quality standards.
